Ok when I download or upload my music from a cd, the album artwork never shows up in itunes for me. So I usually have to manually copy album Pics from the net and paste them in the info section. However my hero either doesn't show the artwork or replaces my pic with some other random artwork pic. Anyone experience this and know how to fix this?

Does anybody know how I can get Album to work faster, so that it doesn't take 2 minutes and 53 seconds (the present record) to display a list of files and respond to instructions?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI went from a stock 1.5 to 2.1 using the Sprint 2.1 RUU and all is well. I understand it's a dev build and as such is already root but when I trying installing android-wifi-tether (both 2.0 and 1.6) it all looks well except when I touch the icon to start and it fails. The 1.6 version did report I didn't have root.
What do I need to do in ADB/shell to ensure the proper permissions are there for AWT? This is the last thing I want to get working and I'm happy.
Do I need to remount the filesystem as rw? Add superuser? Not sure what's needed.
So, I installed the N1 News and Weather App and find it to be awesome!
My question...are there any other apps from the N1 or other android phones that will work on the Hero?
My alarm clock on the HERO doesnt work now, i set the alarm but it doesnt go off. Seemingly it might be an app which is stopping it from working? is it possible=? and also how might i find out which app it is thats stopping it.

Just wondering if any apps I have installed now might stop working on 2.1. Or is pretty much everything backward compatible with no updates required?

Is the reason why it wont work because im rooted(using fresh 2.0)?
when i download ringtones they come in as .dm files. how do i get them to work. i used to just go to the Internet and get them from the download history, but i lost all that when i ruled my phone. i have astro but can not play them from my card, so i can not add them as ringtones.

View 4 Replies View RelatedCan anyone help with album covers? I have one album that shows up with its cover in the default music player. I assume that is because it is included in one of the tags information, I added covers to other albums tag info using windows media player and the advanced tagging option (method found in other forum for other lg phone) but the covers still don't show up when I put the albums back on my phone. Does anyone know which tag the music player is reading? There is also a folder (albumthumbs) that showed up on my sd card once I copied the album thats artwork does work to my phone, and in it is a file without an extension (this is obviously the cover for the one working album). Can I add jpgs to that folder or something and how does the album thumb naming convention work?

Also, when I look at open apps, random things like Sprint Navigation is open most the time, I haven't used it in weeks and if I keep killing it, how does it keep opening? Not really sure this thing does too much.
