I just finishing doing a wipe for fresh 2.3.3. I have everything configured but when i have my music widget on one of my screens, the album art doesn't show up. Is their anything im missing on configuring?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have some of my gmail email skip my inbox and go directly to labeled folders but on my blackberry it would still pick it up.On my hero now it skips the inbox and skips notifying me that I have a new email regardless of what folder it goes to.How do I make it so that I see all email in my gmail app and still keep my normal gmail set the way it is?

There has been times when it shows 4 unread emails on the phone (even though everything is read) and when I log into gmail it shows the 4 unread emails even if it was ones I deleted. View 15 Replies View RelatedI did find/search music album art for every music in my library and now, when I transfer them to the phone card. some songs doesn't have album art still. However, when I connect my phone to media go and select the song that has album art missing, it show the album art in media-go program normally. I wonder is there a way to fix this problem? Does anybody ever have problem on album art missing? (I have check the art that I use for album, nothing wrong with it. similar size with other and it is jpeg)
View 4 Replies View RelatedIsntead, they either download from the internet, or they show the crappy scaled down version created by android! why! what's the problem! music players on iOS don't have this prolem! is my quad-core smartphone incapable of displaying a jpeg image!? Is there a way to change the compression level or something? I don't want to manually swap out every single thumbnail!
the only player that seems to do this is the Neutron music player (yea, I tried almsot every single android music player, almsot 50 of them). But Neutron MP has that crappy 2006 style theme! it's the year 2012! it looks so lame!
This is my second DX as my first was acting up and I remember that on my first DX all I did was drag the song title into the DCIM folder and everything would appear, music and artwork. On my second DX I did the same thing but no artwork this time around.I have lots of music and it would be nice to have the artwork come up
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using windows 7 so the htc sync does not work. I know that there is a workaround for this but I am able to connect Eris through usb and then tap on mount SD card and then drag and drop music files from my pc to my Eris. The problem is that the Eris music app does not show any of the album art. The art is in the files so I don't know why it won't show. I created a folder called music and in that folder is a folder for each artist which contains folders for each album. The art is in each album folder. I tried Mixzing media player for a while and some of the album art appeared but maybe only 25%. I like the stock app if it would just show the album art.

I'm having a problem with the clock/weather widget on my Hero. I have it set to Current City and I noticed the other day that the weather wasn't updating. ( I live in Long Beach, CA) It was stuck on one weather. I especially noticed when it still said partly sunny at 11pm. It doesn't work even if i try to manually update.
I thought it was just the current city function that was having trouble registering but when I go to other cities nearby it updates fine. And when I specifically set it to Long Beach, CA, it was still stuck and not updating.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there something wrong with the weather equipment in Long Beach?
Somehow I am missing the really nice music widget that shows the album graphics. Not sure where I lost it, but I want it back! I installe several things (pancake, and 2.1 icons (which I got rid of)) but the music widget is gone... all that's left is a minimal music widget.
Any ideas or suggestions for getting it back?
Is there a trick to get it to fully close when you are done listening to songs?
I downloaded the Advanced App Killer to close that when I'm done listening to songs. I like having the widget, but maybe there's another app out there (with a widget) that can be used in place of the preloaded one, that will actually STOP, instead of just pause?
Pandora does it too, but I think there is a setting that shuts it off after a certain amount of time being paused...
I have ringtones I made on myxer on my SD card. The music player will play all the songs I have but it doesn't even show the ringtones. What am I doing wrong?

HOWEVER, if I enter the list view and go to albums in the app, the right art is show beside each album. As well, I installed MixZing music app, and it shows the right albums.

So I usually have to manually copy album Pics from the net and paste them in the info section. However my hero either doesn't show the artwork or replaces my pic with some other random artwork pic. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have read a couple of threads that touched on this ring issue, but was unable to find any that had a solution or work around.Since the 2.1 update and the OTA update, many times when an incoming call comes, the phone doesn't ring. If I happen to be in front of the phone, I can see the screen change showing an incoming call.If I am listening to Pandora Radio, when the phone rings, Pandora stops, but the phone never rings.If I am not near or looking at the phone this results in missing the call.If I shut off the phone and re-boot it appears to ring fine, but at some point later in the day or week it will quit ringing.I normally never turn off the phone. Should I start to re-boot every day?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI had deleted the flip clock b/c the weather refused to update. I went back and put it back on and the weather does not show up on the widget now. I have to open up a seperate weather widget on the screen. I've played around with the settings and haven't found a way to remerge the two. I called HTC directly and the rep I spoke with was dumbfounded. Had no idea what was wrong and told me that the only way I could fix this is to do a full system restore. I would prefer not to do that so if anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appriciate it. so it seems that the problem lies when I select "use current city" for the city I want. I choose one of the many cities listed that I don't live in, it works fine. How do I get it to recognize the city I live in?
