Oct 22, 2010Album app mixes cover art with photos. And, there is no option to filter them out, or not to include them at all. The cover art are found in music folder, so why are they appearing in the album. Does the xml file in the top folder of SD card need to be modified to ignore photos in music folder?

Jun 26, 2010I've noticed something weird with the stock music app....when I open the app (get the coverflow type view) or use the widget, the cover art for each song is horribly wrong. HOWEVER, if I enter the list view and go to albums in the app, the right art is show beside each album. As well, I installed MixZing music app, and it shows the right albums.

Dec 29, 2009At complete fault of my own in a move I should have known better than to do, my phone decided to hang out for a few minutes on the bottom of my oven, face up, while it was on at 375F. The phone is actually surprisingly great - everything still works, makes calls, cam and rear speaker seem unaffected - but the back battery cover is messed up now. Because I'm optimistic and dumb, I went to Sprint to see if I could get a replacement door from them. No go. Then I checked HTC's website, and they don't seem to sell anything for this phone at all (exaggeration). Ultimately I plan to wrap my Hero in one of those jelly cases, but I already own one and I'm away on vacation and refuse to by another. Still, despite being wrapped up incognito, I'll be secretly bothered by my less-than-perfect phone, so I really want to order another one.

Aug 11, 2010I just got back from having my headset speaker replaced (i think it blew) and when i got my phone back, the back cover is really loose. I pointed this out and they offered to put a new cover on. The new cover did the same thing and they said that it must have been like that when they got it in. I saw the guy struggle to take the cover off when he went to pull the battery and check water spot. Does anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it. It takes absolutely no effort what so ever to take the cover off now. The slightest bump or slide and its off.

I've found some plugs for the iPhone online, but i wasn't sure if they would fit into the Hero very well, they don't look like they would from the pictures. Or if anyone knows an easy way to create your own plug that looks fairly decent that would be cool too. I checked around the forum here, but i wasn't able to find any info regarding this yet.

Has anyone noticed that over time the battery cover seems to get looser and looser? Its to the point now where it sometimes falls off in my pocket. Aug 14, 2010I've been using a couple of different methods recently trying to sync music on my desire, nothing has worked properly for me, windows media player, itunes sync, doubletwist and even htc sync 3.0 wont do the job.I was using album artwork grabber then to get missing artwork.So i deleted all my music from my desire and started from scratch and just dragged and dropped all the music files to it.This is working great except loads of my album artwork has been mislabelled with a completly different one. Every song has artwork, there is none with the default green logo which used to be there before I'm certain on these songs. But now they all have this other album cover, it's like it's replaced the default music icon cover.I tried clearing the media application data and it rebuilt the library, but it's still the same.

So I usually have to manually copy album Pics from the net and paste them in the info section. However my hero either doesn't show the artwork or replaces my pic with some other random artwork pic. Anyone experience this and know how to fix this?

HTC Desire :: Album Music Not Together
Apr 29, 2010This forum and the community has supplied my answers for Missing Album art, I use 'Album Art Grabber' from Market which is good (except compilations find the artist covers instead, but SD card loading is fine bypass) My problem is that my music, once moved to my HTC Desire phone splits into one track per Album (with Cover art =). So a 34 track album, aok in iTunes now lists as 34 Albums with 1 track each.In iTunes its fine. I use DoubleTwist (another fantastic application) to move the music over.Any body else bumped into this problem?
