View 13 RepliesMy Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Epic Has been charging for hours now and still hasn't hit full charge. I was charging it at work all day and now when I got home. Horrible battery life and worst of all it takes insane amounts of time for it too charge. Yes I have reset my phone many times and even did a factory reset. Is this happening to anyone else?

View 23 Replies View RelatedHow many times do you charge your Epic 4G a day? On the day where I'm on the go and don't use it that much I charge my Epic 4G 2x a day. On a day I heavily (3-4hrs then charge) use it I charge it about 3x a day. What about you people?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI unplugged my phone from the charger and had a text, i dont know why but the light turned purple it was a really cool color too.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug in my phone now, it doesn't give me the three options anymore (Charging, USB, etc). Did I disable something that I'm not aware of? Just installed Battery Indicator Pro yesterday. Could that be the culprit?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got an email asking me if I wanted to reserve the Samsung Epic 4G.

According to my friend Radio Shack will also be taking orders on Friday.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had this phone since day one and I've ran the battery down almost every day and only had minimum "low battery" alerts but tonight I am getting a warning flash on the screen every 10 seconds saying "Low Battery: Please Charge Battery". Seriously, every 10 seconds and it started at 15% battery left.so I have at least 30-60 minutes of life left.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried to search but I'm new to Sprint and just got the epic 4g coming from N1 and AT&T. Had a question regarding the 3g icon. Most of time instead of seeing the up and down arrows under the 3g icon, I see a "D" and if I have 4g on I see the 4g logo with the letters "zzz".. what is the "D" and if this means it is idle 3g how can I stop this? Does this mean that my gmail etc does not sync unless I use an application that needs to use data?

When I was on Sprint.com looking at accessories for the EVO I don't even own yet, a chatbox came up with this Customer Sevice Rep talking to me.So, I asked her when the Epic 4G was to be released, and she blatantly ignored me.I was hoping to bring better news, like, "I found the release date!", but alas,I cannot.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've heard that the sprint wireless tether on the Epic is really slow for some reason. I get 4G at home, with speeds of about 7Mbps up and 1Mbps up. Will I get the same speed with my laptop?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI, like everyone esle, am waiting on the Epic 4g but I have a theory on why Sprint will continue to hold off on the Epic, the Evo Shortage. Currently there is a shortage of HTC Evo's, and waiting lists for them at all the stores in my area. Last store I checked with had a waiting list of 70 people. Sprint actually stands to lose money if they released the Epic 4g before they filled the EVO orders. My prediction is we wont' see the Epic 4g released until the Evo shortage issue is resolved. If they have 70 people on a list for Evo's that's 70 guarenteed sales. anything they sell with the Epic is a bonus. if they release the epic too soon the people waiting for evo's could just get Epics and then they lose their bonus Epic Sales. Just a thought big business doesn't think "how can we make our customers happiest" they think "how can we make the most money out of the situation".
View 22 Replies View RelatedI rooted my Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G and then decided to unroot it. I was using Odin3 v1.85 and about half way through it failed and the phone restarted. Instead of booting into the OS is just displayed a message saying
Quote:
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again
. When I put it into Downloaded Mode it says
Quote:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-i9100
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: YES (1 counts)
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
And when I plug it in to to my computer to try to unroot it again, it would not recognize the phone, it did not appear in device manager. I tried two different cables, two different computers, and re-installed the drivers.
I am thinking of getting the Epic. But does sprint let you block calls from specific numbers? This is very important to have. If Sprint doesn't, which of the other galaxy S providers allow blocking?

View 10 Replies View Relatedwe all know that sprint has had a page about the Samsung Epic, with the full spec sheet, but there was no sprint news release about the phone which means they were still not about to go all out advertising the phone. As of aug. 9th however, they have updated their news page to have the Epic be publicly displayed in their newsroom. Nothing in the link we already don't know (specs wise), but this does mean that they are beginning to make actual advertisements for the phone which only means the release date is drawing nearer.
