My Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.

I tried plugging it into different outlets, plugging it into my laptop, plugging it into my desktop, plugging it into my car....nothing works
I didn't see anything that seamed like it would work in the market that could do this. I want to use my phone as the web cam for my ps3. There was one that had to have accompanying software on my computer. Could a program do this? Maybe pick which camera to use.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI did a test I saw on another forum about turning off the DRM Protected Content Storage (OmaDrmConfigService) to make the battery life longer, and it makes mine last tons longer. When this is on my battery will drain to 10-15% overnight, just sleeping. With this 1 thing off, my battery was at 77% when I got up this morning. WTFudge is this thing, and how do I make it stay off because it turns itself back on after I turn on the phone? How do I automatically turn off other running services I don't need running all of the time? Like eBay and Tango and Craigslist etc.?

Horrible battery life and worst of all it takes insane amounts of time for it too charge. Yes I have reset my phone many times and even did a factory reset. Is this happening to anyone else?

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

I hit the power button to turn the screen off & it lights right back up as soon as I hit it; I hit it again to cut it off, & again it turns right back on; then when I do get it to shut off, about a minute or 2 lata it turns on again & will stay on until I fight to turn it off. I'm jus checking before I hard reset it & see if there's an app causing this.

Also looked everywhere in the sounds menu and nothing - am I missing something? There is an option in my EVO but I find nothing in the Epic 4G - inside our house we get poor reception (Airave here I come!), so the Epic connects regularly to a Verizon tower and that sound is driving me crazy!
