My Epic Has been charging for hours now and still hasn't hit full charge. I was charging it at work all day and now when I got home. Horrible battery life and worst of all it takes insane amounts of time for it too charge. Yes I have reset my phone many times and even did a factory reset. Is this happening to anyone else?

My Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI go to the trash icon on the email app and go to delete the emails from 2 weeks. It takes FOREVER to delete them all. And I still havent deleted all of them. I go to delete like 4 of them and it takes at least 10 seconds just to delete 4 of them.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI know a lot of people have been experiencing 4-5 hour time periods for charging the phone. If you want to cut that down to 2 hours or possibly less, just follow my fix steps!
1. Plug phone in
2. Turn Phone Off
3. Wait 5 seconds
4. Turn Phone On
Voila! But i still do the turning the phone off to get the full charge thing. Hope this helps you all!
I woke up this morning with about 45% battery after 2.5 days on standby and i installed the updated while charging the phone. after the update successfully installed it started charging again at 49% and its taking a lot longer to charge. im guessing this maybe a good thing..before this i got 3-4 days without charging (many emails on phone, texts, a few calls) and i had gps off and htc sense for facebook off, now im going to see how long it lasts with those two things on, since this update addressed the issue with facebook for htc sense.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSince i got 2.2 it is taking much longer to CHARGE my battery. Before the update, it seemed to gain about 1% every minute, so about 1.5hrs to go from 15% or so to full. I thought it seemed longer lately, so at about 11:20 i plugged it in with 17%. At 1am, it was at 66%. Usually it would be close to or at 100%. What gives?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI live in the central time zone. This morning I woke up and my phone decided to adjust for daylight savings time by 2 hours instead of 1. I checked the time and date settings to find that the date settings were checked to "automatic". Somehow the phone decided I was in the Mountain time zone instead of central. why/how that would happen? If I uncheck the automatic, and manually change my time zone it works fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am coming to the conclusion that the poor battery charge time is a result of the batteries and not the phone. The reason I believe this to be true is: I purchased the charger that comes with a spare battery and it takes a good 3-4 hours to charge in that, with no phone attached. Batteries in my previous phones would take an hour to fully charge in a dedicated charger. I bet when Seidio comes out with batteries for this phone, we will see much better charge times and possibly better battery life.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased the phone today at 8:20AM CDT. It is now 1:10PM CDT and I have not gotten any work done. That's over 20% of the day already drained. All the tweaks and technology that has gone in this phone, and neither Sprint or Samsung were able to slow down time. At this rate, I won't be able to even go through a full day without not spending most of my time on the phone. I've been told that time management will be better as time goes on, but I'm worried I might need to get spare hours in a day. Lets hope there is a firmware update soon that will help with this. I am sure my friends, family, and employers will really appreciate it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had this phone since day one and I've ran the battery down almost every day and only had minimum "low battery" alerts but tonight I am getting a warning flash on the screen every 10 seconds saying "Low Battery: Please Charge Battery". Seriously, every 10 seconds and it started at 15% battery left.so I have at least 30-60 minutes of life left.

My sdcard has been taking awfully long to mount to USB. It used to be almost instantaneous like your average USB thumbdrive or external hard disk. Im on a non-rooted nexus one running froyo. Any suggestions?
