I have the 3500mah battery for my hero it got down to about 10 percent so I switched to the stock battery and when I. Switched back to the 3500mah battery and my battery widget says its at 50 percent I mean I can understand the widget isn't perfect but wow that's a big margin to be off by so how do I know how much charge it really has? O and i used the htc widget.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi've been watchin' YouTube via the bookmarks w/o a problem. well i today i switched it "desktop" view b/c i wanted to share a video from there (which i did). however i do not see a link where i can switch back to either "mobile or touch" views. also the YouTube app that comes w/ the phone has YET to work since i got the phone. is this (app not working) common? & can some1 tell me how to switch back to touch view? i'm hoping that i do not have to reset my phone.

I installe several things (pancake, and 2.1 icons (which I got rid of)) but the music widget is gone... all that's left is a minimal music widget.
Any ideas or suggestions for getting it back?
I want to add a battery widget to one of my blank screens. I click on the "+" sign and look under HTC widgets and Android Widgets but I don't see any Battery Widgets.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone for the first time yesterday, which was easier than I thought, and I flashed Fresh 2.0d and it is running awesome. I am having one issue and that is downloading the HTC battery widget back to my phone, it fails on install. Is that because the battery is being sent to the SD card and it can't run there? Any work around on that? Or is there a better battery app out there to use?

I've noticed more than once my Evo will not switch back to the Sprint network after roaming. At my house I get full signal so it's not a quality issue. It just seems like the phone won't switch back! If I reboot the phone all is ok again.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFresh 1.1 lock screen is clear. I personally do not like that, BUT when I try to load another one via Pre-kitchen, it loads, reboots, and its still the same. I click to clear cached lock screen, reboots, still the same. Anyone know why it won't change? the boot screen changed first try, so that is good, just that damn lock screen. I don't like the clear thingy.

NOTE- I already tried ~Settings>Applications>Browser and then click the button Clear Cache and Clear Data then reboot your phone.~

View 17 Replies View RelatedTho it seems the update did fix the problem with the native app, Handcent is still the way to go, at least for me. Seems the native app can't handle more than a 1 meg pic file and since I often include a pic in a text, taken from the Hero its of no use to me. Handcent will reduce the pic file automatically which is a nice feature. Also I refuse to lower the setting from the Hero just to accommodate the native app. Just my thought on that issue.

I remember literally doing my HW online with that kb. Was just wondering if devs ever considered using that kb with 2.1 builds. I'm sure our kb's can be better than what it is (laggy).

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got back from having my headset speaker replaced (i think it blew) and when i got my phone back, the back cover is really loose. I pointed this out and they offered to put a new cover on. The new cover did the same thing and they said that it must have been like that when they got it in. I saw the guy struggle to take the cover off when he went to pull the battery and check water spot. Does anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it. It takes absolutely no effort what so ever to take the cover off now. The slightest bump or slide and its off.
