Jul 7, 2010call me stupid. I could not for the life of me figure out how to remove the preset Customer Service Speed Dial number 2. I would like to set #2 as someone else. Also are we only allowed 9 spots for speed dial on android phones?

Sep 9, 2010Is there ANY way to assign a # on the dial pad to speed dial a contact? I want to do a long press on a number say#3 and it will auto dial the contact assigned to it. I cant figure it out. If I long hold a number it just says NO SPEED DIAL ENTRY. This is driving me NUTS. I have The Epic BTW.

Mar 25, 2010While using the speed dial widget that comes with the Eris, is there a way to put two contacts of the same person in, but with different numbers?For example,I want both my fiance's cell and his work number in those 9 slots, but I can only choose one as the default and if I go to add him in another slot, he isn't even available as a choice under my People.I can make him a wholly separate contact for his work info obviously, but I was just wondering if there was a sleeker way?

I'm getting one for various issues plus the phone is completely dead right now.just wanted to know couple of things:How long did it take to arrive?What did u send back? phone & battery? or anything else..manual/box & etc.They said it might be here tomorrow or in 2-3 days...lol I guess I got really lucky also because they are all sold out everywhere & now sprint is sending to me directly & I didn't even have to leave my house.So far I'm liking Sprints customer service. Mar 31, 2010I am trying to take a phone number from my call log and edit it to be added to a contact without typing it by hand. On my Sprint Katana, when you clicked on the phone number in the call log, you had the choice to edit or append the number. On my Hero, when I press on the phone number, it calls it? Am I missing a step, or not holding the press long enough? I have searched and read as many as come up under a search, but I can't find any that address it from the call log issue.

Nov 17, 2009I've noticed that in the People app, the phone numbers are formatted like this: (xxx) yyyzzzz but phone numbers that are used in message fields such as "Send Message" are formatted (xxx) yyy-zzzz. Is there any way to have the phone numbers formatted using the dash? Why, you ask? Because it's easier to read when you are looking up a phone number to give to someone; and I'm old, so don't laugh at me! GMail's contacts formats them all with a dash, but I can't find a way to make the Hero do so.

I have tried to follow the instructions on page 34 of the manual "adding a number to an entry in People". Step 2 directions do not exist. "Tap ADD>PHONE". I do not see that as an option. Am I missing something?

On the Instinct you put in the numbers with a pause in the string which allowed you to delay entry of saved access codes until the right time. Is there a way to do this on the Hero?
