I searched and could not find relevant results...
Right now I can only see one person I'm following in the widget, is there a way to see tweets from everyone within the widget? I checked settings, but no such luck.
Also, is it another battery drainer similar to the weather and people widget?

View 6 Replies View RelatedAnyone know why my contacts pictures wouldnt be show in my People widget, im using the single line widget and none of my pictures linked with FB are showing up they are just blank, but when i go to the actual list of contacts, and to my favorites, the pictures are there next to the names. I used it before and it worked fine, i recently wiped my phone and now they arent working.

Why the weather is disappearing on the clock widget? Sometimes I have to sync it to come back on the home screen. When the weather disappears I still have a internet connection. I noticed it today that I was having this problem. I contacted Sprint just to get this notated on my account. I read this on the forum before but I can't find it. How can I stop this from happening?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I installed DamageControl v2.08.1 on my cdma Hero the calendar and date are 24 hours off! Time is correct but it's the next day. When I did a back up of this install it even used the wrong date on the backup. I have a bunch of small issues that I think with patience I may be able to work around but this clock/date thing has me puzzled. Also has anyone figured out how to put a custom city in for the weather widget and not one of the ones listed but for example a small town (any town) some where in the USA? I could do this on my 1.5 but this weather widget acts like the clock and you can only use their listed cities.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with the clock/weather widget on my Hero. I have it set to Current City and I noticed the other day that the weather wasn't updating. ( I live in Long Beach, CA) It was stuck on one weather. I especially noticed when it still said partly sunny at 11pm. It doesn't work even if i try to manually update.
I thought it was just the current city function that was having trouble registering but when I go to other cities nearby it updates fine. And when I specifically set it to Long Beach, CA, it was still stuck and not updating.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there something wrong with the weather equipment in Long Beach?
I'm trying to drain my battery it was at 7% I rebooted my phone cuz i know that kills battery but when it rebooted it said the battery is 13% now what gives why'd it do that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got Task Panel X for me Hero and i've been trying to play aroudn with it. But ever since I got it, the weather part of HTC's flip clock widget has been messing up. It just shows a blank, no weather. Whenever I turn off the Task Panel X, it stops messing. Does anyone know how to make Task Panel X not stop the weather on the clock app? Everything about the app works fine except this.

Switched back to the 3500mah battery and my battery widget says its at 50 percent I mean I can understand the widget isn't perfect but wow that's a big margin to be off by so how do I know how much charge it really has? O and i used the htc widget.

I am having one issue and that is downloading the HTC battery widget back to my phone, it fails on install. Is that because the battery is being sent to the SD card and it can't run there? Any work around on that? Or is there a better battery app out there to use?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI removed the People widget. From the main screen, scroll right. Hold down the People widget and remove it. I was getting 10 hours daily off a full charge. Today I got up to 14. Normally I lose 10% per hour. In the morning, I was losing 5%. I was hoping to double my 10 hours and get to 20 but I did make it to 14.
I was also losing 15-20% in the first hour battery drain. After removing the people widget, I only lost 3%! Previously, I tried everything. Turned off GPS, formatted SD card, hard reset, changed from GSM to CDMA, charging while the phone was off/on repeatedly. I have hardware version 003.
why does weather bug show up advanced task killer even inside the 6 hour time frame I set up for it to update. Wondering If I use the weather bug short cut on my home screen and not the WB widget will that stop it from ever opening/updating unless I open it by tapping the shortcut icon.

I know the phone holds many more than just this 'default' form of contact you pick when selecting the person, but is there a way to have the People Widget take you to the person's contact page rather than directly to calling them, messaging them or emailing them?

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy Hero rebooted itself when i cut it off and cut it back on due to aggravation of lag. after spending half the day fooling with getting back some apps, my contacts from google and the whole issue with syncing facebook to my contacts. i thought i could easily just look up my city for the weather widget location.
Well before the reboot my weather showed just fine, my location and everything. now my city isn't even in the data base and my gps and such is turned on. some of the directions ive read on using the gps to find my location has become a headache because i don't think i have those features.
When i go into my weather settings and click the + sign it goes straight to search location. i type in the name of my city and it doesn't come up.
I have recently bought an HTC Hero and updated it with the new ROM. One of the reasons I bought it is to be able to get stock prices on the move. I do have the following problem. The stocks and weather widgets only update themselves using a WiFi connection and not my 2g/3g network. I don't think is a network problem or a GPRS settings problem as I am able to receive my emails and also connect to the internet using 2g/3g. There must be a problem with the widgets.
