I have tried several Roms and they all have the same problem, some apps are.missing, i had them a few weeks ago, like beebplayer and handybackup, they are free apps and I can see paid apps.

Most group names that came with phone don't work for me. Anyone using an app to give more customization of groups and contacts that will sync up the same as stock app.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been missing many calls from my Hero more than any other Sprint phone I owned, has anyone experienced this issue? not even a ring, full bars of signal strength and goes to voicemail at times, not all the time but my wife says it happens a lot when she tries to contact me, any suggestions folks? I read some stuff about the Slot Index would this solve my issue? or would I be best to root my phone since I am still stock?

I enabled both in the settings (they are checked), but when I click the options button on the keyboard and try to select a keyboard, I only get the 3 standard options (QWERTY, Phone, Compact QWERTY). Any ideas why?

Once items are dragged into folders, can they be taken out? Dragged out? Deleted while in the folder? Seems I have to delete the entire folder and start over.

This was one of my favorite apps and now its like it never existed? Does anybody else not see calorie counter when they search for it? I don't understand how it could just not show up anymore in the market. If anyone has it, could they possibly back up the app to there SD card and send me the .apk file so I can install it? Would that work?

Now that app won't show up in the market for me.I know I read something about apps not showing up if the ROM is not "signed" by Google, or something. But the zip from Fresh 2.1.2 ends with "_signed_release". So what do you do to get missing apps to show up?

Anyone here running stock Hero 1.5 able to download Weatherbug Elite, Camera Zoom FX or tapatalk? I was told by our network that when we get 2.1 they will appear, but if I remember right there were folks here running stock Hero 1.5 on Sprint who had them.

Has anyone's email notification stopped working? The envelope that usually appears in the notification bar doesn't show anymore, but when I look at my mail shortcut on the homescreen, it shows the green circle with the number of new emails. Did I accidentally change something or do you think it's a bug?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn my Sprint Hero's native IM app I can sign into AIM just fine but only 1/3 of my buddies show up... I thought this might be a common problem but can't find any mention of it anywhere... am I missing something? It's not that offline buddies are hidden.
EDIT: I'm aware of Hi AIM and the other third-party apps available but would rather use the native one if I can get it to work (I hardly touch AIM on the phone, just need to use it every once in awhile). Also, I have the 1.56 update.
I recently updated the handcent messaging app and after a few soft resets the icon on the home screen is gone. the name is there and a grey X. if i reinstall the app it reappears but it takes too much time to keep redoing my settings. anyone else notice that? it happened twice after about 8 soft resets.

View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday I had a missed called. I wanted to check at what time this person had called me. When I clicked on the phone icon that's at the bottom of the screen it opens all my call history (incoming, outgoing and missed calls).
But it doesn't not list anytime stamp for any type of call. I click on the menu button and click on call history. I click on the menu button again and click on the View option. Then I select Missed calls. The time stamps just show the day. For example some of them say 3 days ago or Yesterday but no time.
The only way i'm able to see the actual time of the missed call is if I open that person contact card and view the history from there.
Is there a way I can get this information with out having to open up the contacts?
The Market has been missing many apps lately has anyone heard why and what is happening?

The sync icon (arrows chasing each other in a circle) is stuck at the top of the screen and my battery is disappearing rapidly. I've done a couple battery pulls and reboots with no change.What I'd NORMALLY do is update the data profile under menu/settings/about phone/system updates... But something I didn't know about CM6 is that this option is not there. (unless it's hidden somewhere else, then please point me in the right direction)."No problem", I think There are other ways to skin this cat. I type in ##3282#, which should allow me into a menu that allows me to refresh the data service... The phone doesn't respond at all "Odd", I think. So I try ##786#, which should open the reset menu... The phone didn't respond to that, either.

I'm in People, then click Menu and the Search feature was right there; has it been moved or removed? 2. I also responded to another post in a different phone forum about the missing Phone "Favorites" sub-feature in 2.1. Anyone know where that is? You can add a contact from your recently called list to your "Favorites" by hard pressing the contact name, but there's no associated Favorites app to go along with it.

View 49 Replies View RelatedToday i have been having some fun today downloading and yes buying (!) apps from the mkt. well, i started getting a little instability - i couldn't get an IP from my wireless router --- i had d/l "wifi keep alive" and "wifi reconnect" and "wifi reassociation". so i went to the mkt intending to uninstall one by one until i restored my ability to DHCP to the router. selecting the "downloads" section of the mkt revealed only about two pages worth of apps. believe me - i have a LOT more apps than that! mostly all the apps that appear are purchased apps (one exception - gmail is there too) - but even then, not "all" of my purchased apps are there! in doing my due dilligence checking to see if anyone else had this problem and solved it, i found this thread and this thread - neither of which have anything to say to help me. ANY idea how to get my apps to show up in the mkt? the apps themselves ARE STILL ON MY hero, they just don't appear in the mkt)
