A quick couple of questions about facebook on th Epic. First, how come all the pictures I upload to facebook are sideways? No matter what I do they upload sideways? Its slightly annoying. Second, is there a way to upload more than one at a time?

is there not a way to upload a batch of pictures to facebook? I'm in the gallery, and I can make it split out the pictures by date; fun...so I click that grouping of pictures and want to upload it to facebook...share only allows to bluetooth, picasa, email, gmail or messaging...no facebook...And if I try to go through facebook app to do it, I can only upload one photo at a time. there has to be a way to upload more than one photo at a time...

View 4 Replies View RelatedOne of the selling points of the Epic 4G is the 5mp Camera it has.. Gizmodo rated better than the iphone's and even though, it doesn't have 8 mp (Evo), its 5 mp picture has a higher quality than Evo's.
Please post your pictures and if you can use some of the photo apps available ( Fxcamera, Retro cam, Camera Illusion, Vignette, Photostitch), it will give us a better idea of how good the camera and apps are.
I'm trying to upload photos I've taken on my Vibrant to my PC. I connect the USB wire, but I can't figure out how to get the pictures onto the computer. Can someone please explain how to get them from my phone to the PC? I've got some really nice pictures taken that I want to get uploaded.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?

I was reading about them today and I saw that at the end of September there was an update for software d07 and if you had d17 or d27 you can't update. If I get my phone tomorrow what do they come with out of the box? I want to be able to update to d18 to get the upload cap off. So should I ask to loom at the phone before they activate it to make sure it is d07 to get the update? Also how are there diff. Software out for them? Why do some have d27 and some have d07.

After uploading several pics to "my T-mobile album" and after emailing them to myself, I notice the pictures are pretty small, 480x360.. no where near what I expected from 5 megapixels (and yes, I have the option set at 5mp). What can I do to take larger sized pictures?
Possibly unrelated, I use the stock USB cable to plug in the phone. The phone will charge, but my Macbook does not recognize anything as being plugged in, so I cannot manually browse around to upload my photos. What gives?
I've updated my galaxy grand-duos android from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2..I have had some problems at first..including apps problems every application started crashing..so uninstalled and reinstalled them again & they worked just fine.I still have a problem with one app, which is instagram.Since I updated my android , I cant upload pictures on instagram anymore except for the pictures that were on the phone before the update.I tried uninstalling & reinstalling instagram many time & nothing happened.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I have just traded in my HTC Evo for the Epic 4G. So far its been pretty nice to me but then again I have only had it for a couple hours. One thing about my phones is that I use WiFi more a lot. When I seem to have wifi on and someone sends me a picture through text, it wont download the picture unless I turn WiFi off. Is there anything I can do to change this? Is this happeneing to everybody? The EVO you could have wifi on and it would still download pictures and what not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and sorry if there was another thread about this, I searched and couldnt find.

When in the camera and you hit the play button to review pictures, all pictures on the phone come up instead of just the ones i've taken with my camera. Is there a setting to change for this? Do i need to move my photos to a specific folder to avoid this? Right now i have all my pictures in the "media" folder. The camera pictures are in the DCIM folder. So how can this be changed?

I have my Facebook account synced and it shows the pictures under my call log, contacts, dialer, but does not show the contact pictures in my text messages? Anyone know how to fix this, it really annoys me seeing a bunch of empty picture slots when looking at my text message list.
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust received my Epic via the little Brown truck yesterday, and I'm loving most everything about it so far.One niggle is the gap between the 'top' half of the phone (the sliding part with the screen) and the chrome trim ring is variable.While resting camera down on a table, the gap is consistent all around. but if you were to hold the device by the 'top' part, the gap along the side where the volume buttons are grows to almost the thickness of a quarter ($0.25). It's almost if it's wobbling on the slider mechanism, when the slider is CLOSED (unlike when open, as in other posts).Another niggle is that the button to the left of the HOME button is not equally lit across the image (looks like a page).It's almost as if the image fades from left (bright) to right (dim).Finally, the camera is completely crap. Even in a well lit office environment, the image that is centered and 'focused' before the shutter falls comes out blurred and ugly.Strangely, the background is crystal clear.Flash or not makes no difference.Otherwise, all my pixels are lively, the function keys on the bottom are all equally responsive to the touch I would expect to make them work, and voice quality is great.So is my experience unique, like the device is a lemon, or is it consistent with this gizmo?

Horrible battery life and worst of all it takes insane amounts of time for it too charge. Yes I have reset my phone many times and even did a factory reset. Is this happening to anyone else?
View 21 Replies View RelatedI live in the central time zone. This morning I woke up and my phone decided to adjust for daylight savings time by 2 hours instead of 1. I checked the time and date settings to find that the date settings were checked to "automatic". Somehow the phone decided I was in the Mountain time zone instead of central. why/how that would happen? If I uncheck the automatic, and manually change my time zone it works fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am coming to the conclusion that the poor battery charge time is a result of the batteries and not the phone. The reason I believe this to be true is: I purchased the charger that comes with a spare battery and it takes a good 3-4 hours to charge in that, with no phone attached. Batteries in my previous phones would take an hour to fully charge in a dedicated charger. I bet when Seidio comes out with batteries for this phone, we will see much better charge times and possibly better battery life.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased the phone today at 8:20AM CDT. It is now 1:10PM CDT and I have not gotten any work done. That's over 20% of the day already drained. All the tweaks and technology that has gone in this phone, and neither Sprint or Samsung were able to slow down time. At this rate, I won't be able to even go through a full day without not spending most of my time on the phone. I've been told that time management will be better as time goes on, but I'm worried I might need to get spare hours in a day. Lets hope there is a firmware update soon that will help with this. I am sure my friends, family, and employers will really appreciate it.
