HTC Legend :: When Receive Emails Can't View Any Images
May 14, 2010When I receive emails I can't view any images, what I mean is they're all text unlike what you would get on a pc.

HTC Desire :: Not Seeing Images In Emails
Sep 14, 2010(HTC Desire running Froyo, not been rooted/molested).I have the stock email app set up to send/receive email through my BT email account.This all works fine with one exception.If I am sent an email which contains an image, I just receive the text no image at all (not even any sign that an image should be there). If the image is sent as an attachment then it is fine, it is only a problem when the image is in the body of the email.I have checked through settings and have set mail size limit to 'No Limit'.Can't see any other relevant settings.I found an old thread about this when I searched and it suggested that this was a known issue and may be corrected in 2.2. However, I am running 2.2 already.This is especially annoying as my cousin has been sending emails containing photos from her iphone and finds it quite amusing that my HTC cannot even display them

Sep 13, 2010I am having issues with my new Samsung Fascinate. I shouldn't blame the phone as it is probably just the android system. I can not receive emails on either of my accounts without manually going into my phone and hitting "load messages". I have set the emails to check every 5 minutes, but it doesn't notify me or open them until I manually do it. Love the rest of the phone

Jun 29, 2010I used to have a BlackBerry. The global setting was to leave email on the POP server. However, when I deleted emai(s) from the BB I was asked if I wanted to also delete it from the POP server. This was handy in that I could selectively delete junk email so that when I got back to my computer I didn't have to bother with them. The Android doesnt seem to have this capability on an email by email basis. You have to set a global setting for the application for all email. Am I missing something or can I actually selectively choose emails to also be deleted from my POP server.
My Configuration: HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon Wireless network. 8GB memory card. Android 2.1 OS. Home computer = iMac running v10.6.3 Snow Leopard. I use Apple Mail, iCal and Address Book on the iMAC. I use a POP3 server for email. I have a Google Gmail account; which I only use as a go-between to sync contacts and calendar between my iMac and Droid I dont really send/receive from Gmail. I link my iMac to Google to sync contacts and calendar events. I link my Google accounts to my Droid to sync my contact and calendar events. I only open up my Apple Mail application on my iMac when Im at the computer, so that I can get incoming email on my Droid. I have accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. I use a Plantronics discovery Bluetooth 925 headset as well as a wired over the head headset with a jack adaptor.
HTC Desire : Way To Stop Gmail Notifications When Receive Emails?
Sep 22, 2010Why is it that sometimes when I receive emails I get two notifications for one email?? They are different formats of notifications though. Both from Gmail just different looking screens. I usually get the outlined envelope in my notification bar but sometimes will get that and also the solid white envelope. Both are the same email just two different notifications. Doesn't happen all the time.

Android : Is K9 Still Way To View Emails
Sep 14, 2010I'm using the stock email client but have heard everyone bang on about how good K9 is but all the features that people seemed to talk about that makes it better than the stock email i already have in my stock email on my Motorola milestone (droid).
So my question is for the people that are currently still running K9 on their device that is on 2.1 or 2.2 and why they are running it and whether i should move across to it.
I have a corporate exchange account that i check in the stock email app and a gmail account that i check using the standard gmail app.
I use Tusker to control the times when i sync the emails (ie every minute when at work but only every 30mins when at home etc).
