When I connected my Yahoo email account I noticed that it no longer hides e-mail images and asks me if I want to show them. I liked that feature because if it's spam I do not want them to determine that it is an active e-mail address.

View 1 Replies View Related(HTC Desire running Froyo, not been rooted/molested).I have the stock email app set up to send/receive email through my BT email account.This all works fine with one exception.If I am sent an email which contains an image, I just receive the text no image at all (not even any sign that an image should be there). If the image is sent as an attachment then it is fine, it is only a problem when the image is in the body of the email.I have checked through settings and have set mail size limit to 'No Limit'.Can't see any other relevant settings.I found an old thread about this when I searched and it suggested that this was a known issue and may be corrected in 2.2. However, I am running 2.2 already.This is especially annoying as my cousin has been sending emails containing photos from her iphone and finds it quite amusing that my HTC cannot even display them

When receiving .jpg files via emails i am having problems and have had from day one is i cant seem to open the images through the phone. I have a image of the Android man in green in the emails with the filename eg car.jpg have tried clicking on it to open but no joy plz plz do you know what is wrong. Xperia x10.

For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? So I can't have something like: Photographs -> Family -> Pets

I like that I can get their pics, email, other phone numbers, etc. What I don't like is that my phonebook has 100 contacts from Facebook that I will never ever call. Is it possible to hide these 'crap' contacts from the phonebook while still being able to sync with my good contacts?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm playing with a Droid Incredible my wife got from her company because I'm thinking of buying one.I do photography and I have a website.The images aren't huge maybe 600 x 800 pixels but that's bigger than the screen resolution of the Incredible so I can't view them on the built-in browser without panning around.A normal PC browser is smart enough to shrink the image to fit the browser window.Also, my wife's iPhone handles this with no problem. How do I get the browser on the Droid Incredible to do that?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI use outlook 2003 for my email. If outlook is closed on my computer, I get all of my email to my phone. If outlook is open on my computer, I do not get my emails on my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can always get my emails whether outlook is open or not? I think when my local computer receives an email, it removes it from my ISP server. I don't know if this makes any difference or not.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just noticed for the past few days, my Incredible has been deleting my email off of my pop server account after I delete it (from Trash) out of the phone. Before you say anything, I have "Delete Email on Server" unchecked from the settings. So I checked it, shut off the phone, unchecked it and then sent a few test emails.
With it checked, it does delete my email after I delete it off of the phone - obviously. Unchecking it, sending test email and deleting it still deletes If off my POP Server. I am a little frustrated because I realized about 4 days of emails have been deleted, although I have copies of them on one computer. I know it didn't do this out of the box, only recently.
I am having issues with my Gmail push feature. I opted for the Gmail app instead of the HTC mail app. The only issue is my emails aren't being pushed to my phone. When I go into the Gmail app and click on accounts & check the settings it has Auto Sync checked and also the correct Gmail account. When I go to settings>Accounts & Sync> Auto Sync is checked there as well along with my Gmail account. I have sent numerous test emails from my work PC to my personal Gmail account but the emails aren't popping up as new notifications or even in the Gmail app until I actually open the Gmail app several minutes later. What is going on here? I thought Gmail was supposed to be a true "Push" mail client that worked on the Incredible.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am porting over from a blackberry and i used to use something called Blackberry email redirector. Which would actually forward the emails to me, as long as redirector was running on the desktop.
Since I dont have access to outlook exchange via wireless phone (i'm in tech support, but dont have exchange access from anything other than my desk).
Is there an app, or program, that will forward emails from my outlook inbox at work and forward to my D-Inc? Something like a blackberry redirector but for the D-Inc without having to use exchange?
I tried to do a forward rule in outlook at work to forward any email sent to me to my yahoo account, but for some reason the rule is not working and not forwarding to me.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get work email, without using exchange, any app or something like that ? that can send duplicates to my phone, and will allow me to respond with my work address?
I have gmail and my exchange email from work set up on my phone and noticed that i do not get any email to my phone. The only time i know when mail arrives it when i open the email and it refreshes itself. I have the phone set up to check mail every 5 minutes with notification on.
