HTC EVO 4G : Vibrate Not Working For Texts / Emails - Need To Fix
Jun 7, 2010Anybody having this issue on handcent or stock text/email? it just started within the past day. my phone will no longer vibrate when i get texts or emails. sound works just fine. All the notifications are set to vibrate when phone is on vibrate mode. i even set it to vibrate always, and it still will not vibrate at all. if i get a call however, the phone vibrates just fine.

Sep 12, 2010I have not been able to receive texts since last night. What happens is I will get nothing for hours, then I reboot, and will get like 8 at once. I don't want to take it to vzw, because they will just reset it and i want to only use that as a last ditch effort. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Motorola Droid X :: How To Receive Emails Periodically?
Aug 5, 2010I have two email accounts linked to the Droid X. The primary is set to receive new emails every 15mins. Is this option available to secondary email accounts? My gmail account is hooked up to the Droid but it will not tell me if there are any messages without hitting the refresh button. Is there a way to receive emails periodically? I am having the same issue with sending. I can send an email on my gmail but it wont send until i hit refresh.

Aug 15, 2010Even after numerous factory resets, through both the Volume Down+Send+End and Settings>Privacy>Factory Reset methods, my Eris has been unable to send or receive texts, and will not allow me to send or receive calls. When I try to text, I get an SMS error with Cause Code: 34 and Error Class: 3. When I try to call, I get an automated error saying that my phone can't be authenticated at this time, and am advised to call #8899. Even after doing so, I get the same authentication error. Wi-Fi seems to work correctly, and my Google and Facebook accounts all sync pretty much perfectly. Is anyone else having any kind of problem like this? And, either way, does anyone know of any possible alternatives that may fix the problem besides a total replacement of the phone?

Oct 20, 2010I have a Droid X with the OTA 2.2 rooted and when I put the phone in Vibrate the phone will not vibrate at all not for phone calls, text, or email? I have "MINI INFO WIDGET" and when I go in there to adjust the volume to vibrate it will work but then when I try to go back to Sound Profile I have to manually adjust the sound again? I have Vibrate Widget and when that is selected it goes to silent only. I tried Uninstalling MINI INFO and VIBRATE WIDGET but I still have the same result sooo it can't be the programs.

May 9, 2010I despise any form of audible notification on phones and so generally have it on vibrate for 99% of the time. However, I find the Incredible's vibrate notification for text messages a joke: two quick spurts and no recurring vibrating. Is there any way to perhaps change the text notification to be like a phone call (instead just be two bursts of it) and even make it recurring? Stock options are unbelievably bare and I haven't found any apps that change the vibrate profile.

May 20, 2012There's actually a phone made by Fujitsu that's similar in that it can be booted into the full desktop windows 7 32 bit by the switch of a button. The downside I see to it is that when you are running it the phones radio is turned off so you can't receive calls or texts also the phone UI is some proprietary Fujitsu software.
