Is there a time limit your downloaded emails remain on your legend? Over the past 2 weeks or so I have noticed emails falling off. This morning I woke up to find them all gone? Maybe I havent got it set up correctly

I downloaded the 'Goggles' app from Android Market to my HTC Legend, and I want to completely remove it from the phone.I have gone through the settings of the phone trying to find a way, and there doesn't seem to be an option to delete it by pressing 'Menu'.

The trackball will light up and everything when I get a missed call or email or sms etc. and it will keep it up only for some 10 minutes. Any idea how or if it can be set up to light up indefinitely (that is, until i clear the notifications)?

it took all day but i finally took 1080p avatar and converted it to mp4 to play on my dx. i transferred the mp4 to my sdcard and started to play. plays better than perfect until i started skipping around the movie and noticed when it gets past a certain time (1:40:50) i think it is it stops playing and cant go past. i try the file thats on my laptop and theres no problem with that. i tried downloading other movie players but they cant even play the file at all.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm a very light mobile phone user (100 minutes per month at most, often much less, with a sprinkling of texts) and I expect to need intensive mobile internet access only sporadically. Since much of this will be while travelling abroad I don't want to get locked into a large regular commitment to a UK carrier.
If all I wanted was phone access (calls and texts) the obvious answer would be a standard PAYG deal where the value of each top-up stays on the phone indefinitely until I use it. However, so far as I can see, this kind of deal doesn't seem to be available for internet data access (except at ridiculous prices like ?1 per MB).
At reasonable rates per GB all I can find are "rolling" deals where I pay monthly until I cancel or one-off "add-ons" (for example from Three where I can buy 500MB for use within 7 days or 2GB for use within a month). In either case, any allowance I don't use within the period goes to waste. What's more the one-off add-on carries the risk of forgetting to look out for the end of the 7-day or 30-day period and getting hit by penal charges.
I uploaded an update to one of my apps. I caught a bug in testing shortly after. I noticed that the Upload Upgrade link had disappeared, and I only have the ability to completely remove the application. I uploaded the last update yesterday, so it has been about 15 hours. I'm guessing there is a 24 hour waiting period so that you don't flood the market with updates, but I can't find documentation to confirm.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI live in Portugal and bought my HTC Legend for about 2,5 months with no carrier (not rooted). For the last month I moved to Spain to work, and I'm having some trouble with the hour mechanism on the phone. I've set the phone clock to the correct time and Time Zone (GMT +1). But since the SIM card is from a portuguese carrier (Vodafone PT), maybe it is configured has beeing GMT 0.
Well all the time settings are manually configured and I've turned off the automatic settings.
What happens is that every week I must pay attention to the clock, because the phone changes the time automatically to one hour early. I think that this must be related to the configuration of the SIM card, but my configurations are all manual.
Does anyone have a similar problem? can it be corrected or is a known bug with Android/phone?
I can't find the calling time log in the legend.

It's now version 1.32.161.4 and the root guide at 24/May r4 - HTC Legend rooting guide - Now with 1.31.x - Android @ MoDaCo says 1.31 and below is there any way to downgrade the Legend to what it was before? I have a Wi-Fi router D-Link Dir-615. My HTC Legend recognize the router but after enterring the key to unlock the connection, it fails to connect. 2 PC are connected and the HTC touch of my wife too, and all three work fine.
