So i wanted to see if anyone else has the same issue as me. I have my settings so that my keyboard only vibrates (no sound!) for sending texts BUT it makes a clicking noise sometimes when I press the keys. This is really annoying and no. Hard reset does not help. Has anyone else experienced this. my phone is the HTC Incredible.

My question is I really like the little click noise it makes when you clicking on things when typing and in the menu does the Evo have this feature and I know it doesn't have swype is there anything comparable for the Evo seeing it doesnt have it?

I turned off Audible Touch Tones, Hepatic Feedback & Audible Selection..... It only makes this noise when I'm typing (ie. texts, emails & dialing).

View 1 Replies View Relatedon my droid x whenever the phone vibrates either when im clicking something, getting a text or a incoming call. the phone makes a buzz noise. also i noticed the phone does not vibrate as heavy as it should and is not as noticable when its in your pocket with the sound off. i used a droid 1 and a droid incredible in the past and both of those the vibration was quieter. so im wondering are everyones droid x like this or does mine just have a defective vibration mechanism or something?

However can someone tell me how to turn off the clicking noise when I press a letter? I like the vibrate to let me know that I touched it but could do without the Storm-esque click. There was one more but I forgot it at the moment.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I was typing, there would be rigid vibration respond. However, when I type really fast, there will be another sound other than vibration. It's more like click sound. It's easy to notice since the pitch will be a little higher. just wondering if you guys have same experience? I am somehow concerned about it. It"s a bit Annoying. Also when I try to get the bookmark in the browser, it's kinda laggy.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI could swear I had de-selected a "noise cancellation" option in a menue somewhere in an effort to get my Droid to sound better during calls, but i can't for my life find it. (-Was I tripping?) Since then, I've removed my cheap-ass made-by-not-Motorola case after realizing (via this forum) that it was covering up the exterior microphone. Calls still sound like crap to me, but at least people can hear me better, I think. Anyway, if there's the noise cancellation opt and I wasn't dreaming or severely confused, can someone point me in the direction of that?

It all of a sudden started doing this like an hour ago. It will play a notification sound if I want it to but will not vibrate, which is how i like to receive my texts. I have the option checked for phone to vibrate when messages are received and nothing at all.
I just got my HTC Magic yesterday and I was meddling around with it for awhile and I realized, when you receive text messages there are no vibration? I'm a little surprised at how little this is being mentioned and I'm also puzzled at why this feature was dropped since on paper it sounds like such a good thing. Does anyone have experience with how well it worked? Did it not work out as well as planned, was it a cost saving measure to drop it, or does nobody actually talk directly into their phone anymore?

This is particularly noticeable on the small in ear headphones/earbuds during quiet portions of music, or if you have music playing and turn the volume down to zero, and for a short time after pausing music (until the audio jack is powered down. I love the phone but this is almost a dealbreaker for me as it somewhat kills the whole idea of not needing a separate music player, though it can be somewhat worked around by headphones with online volume controls, decreasing volume by about half and boosting iron the phone.
I recently got a call from a friend of mine, and his voice came through crystal clear, but when I would talk, I would hear this cracking noise in the ear piece. I have pretty good reception where I am, so I don't know what's causing this problem. Anyone else experience this?

My only complaint is that when I am actually on the phone, the callers on the other end hear a lot of background noise. The microphone seems to pick up everything. I cannot even talk on the phone if I am in an environment that has any ambient noise because callers are bombarded with the ambient noise. On this note, I was just wondering if there was any way to change the microphone sensitivity and back it off a little bit so that it is usable in environments that contain some ambient noise.
