Sprint HTC Hero :: How To Turn Off Vibration During Typing
May 21, 2010I know that you can make it so there is NO vibration while you are typing text messages. I had it turned off, but I wiped and now I cannot find where to go in order to turn it off again. This vibrating keyboard is the silliest idea ever, Can someone plz point me to where on the phone I can disable this feature?

Jun 9, 2010When I was typing, there would be rigid vibration respond. However, when I type really fast, there will be another sound other than vibration. It's more like click sound. It's easy to notice since the pitch will be a little higher. just wondering if you guys have same experience? I am somehow concerned about it. It"s a bit Annoying. Also when I try to get the bookmark in the browser, it's kinda laggy.

I have my settings so that my keyboard only vibrates (no sound!) for sending texts BUT it makes a clicking noise sometimes when I press the keys. This is really annoying and no. Hard reset does not help. Has anyone else experienced this. my phone is the HTC Incredible.

Problem is I'm playing with it too much and already got a text saying I am at 65% of my data usage plan well before the billing cycle will be complete. How can I turn off completely/minimize the data stream? So far I've done (Home> All programs Tab> Wireless & networks and uncheck the box for Mobile Networks) and (Settings> Accounts and Sync> Background data "Applications can sync, send, and receive data at any time"). I wanna just be able to use it at WiFi spots so I don't accrue any fees.

So my question is, does anyone know how to turn the vibration off for the dial pad? I got it turned off for texting and I have the noise off for the dial pad just can't seem to get the vibration off. The reason I ask is because my dial pad is realllllllyy laggy. Like it takes 2-3+ seconds for a number that you press to show up and I feel like the vibration is the reason for the lag.

Apr 13, 2010Was just wondering if anyone knew how to turn of the sound and vibration when instant message calls come in?, can't find an option for this anywhere and they are too regular to leave it running whilst at work unless i can switch them off. Also a tip, although it tells you you cannot use over wifi I find it works fine if you disconect the wifi whilst signing in and then reconnect the wifi.
