HTC EVO 4G :: Click Noise While Clicking On Things And Typing?
Nov 3, 2010I am thinking about switching to the evo from my epic I really like the epic but not liking the slider and earpiece on it. My question is I really like the little click noise it makes when you clicking on things when typing and in the menu does the Evo have this feature and I know it doesn't have swype is there anything comparable for the Evo seeing it doesnt have it?

I have my settings so that my keyboard only vibrates (no sound!) for sending texts BUT it makes a clicking noise sometimes when I press the keys. This is really annoying and no. Hard reset does not help. Has anyone else experienced this. my phone is the HTC Incredible.

Oct 6, 2010I got my 3rd Eris since June today & when I'm typing a text it vibrates/makes noise & I can't figure out how to freaking turn that off. I turned off Audible Touch Tones, Hepatic Feedback & Audible Selection..... It only makes this noise when I'm typing (ie. texts, emails & dialing).

May 9, 2010Has anyone else noticed that typing in landscape in gtalk is less than ideal?
First, the entire window is taken up by the input screen and the keyboard, so
you don't get to see what your partner is typing (other than an abbreviated preview in the notification bar).
Second, every time you press 'enter' to send the message, the keyboard disappears. This can be a good and bad thing depending on what you're trying to do. But, most often, it interrupts the flow of the conversation and slows me down.
I wish there was a way to change this...

Jun 22, 2010I have noticed that while charging my EVO using the stock wall charger and any micro usb cable that there is a loud whining noise. It is pretty loud and can even hear it while watching TV. I have read that the Droid Incredible charger has the same issue as well and have tried to switch the prong orientatoin and still no luck. I have used my other HTC charger that I have from my old Touch Diamond and don't hear any type of noise. I have read that it is the capacitors in the charger making the noise. I have tested and the charger still makes the noise after the green LED light has come on.

Aug 19, 2010I have noticed that during playback of video I take with my Motorola droid, I hear a sort of a pop every now and then. The first time I heard it, I thought it was something going on around me when taking the video, but it's not, it appears that the sound is coming from the droid, though I do not hear the pop when recording. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes you don't hear it at all, sometimes it's every 30 seconds, and a lot of times, I hear the pop right at the end of the video, but sometimes it happens right in the middle.

Nov 6, 2010Was reading a review at AnandTech and it says: On the left are the volume rocker button and a port for the secondary microphone for noise cancellation. You can follow that port inside to a small chamber where the microphone is. There aren't any markers on the volume rocker - then again up and down are pretty obvious. However, what I haven't seen addressed is whether than noise cancellation is bypassed when using a bluetooth headset? Apr 22, 2010One thing the Incredible doesn't have that the Nexus One does is the fancy noise cancellation technology. I'm a little surprised at how little this is being mentioned and I'm also puzzled at why this feature was dropped since on paper it sounds like such a good thing. Does anyone have experience with how well it worked? Did it not work out as well as planned, was it a cost saving measure to drop it, or does nobody actually talk directly into their phone anymore?

May 21, 2010I'm programming an Augmented Reality application. It's development it's in an advanced state but I can't place the icons on the screen so still as anothers programs does (Layar, in example). This is because of the continuous variations of the sensors. I've tried the three modes of the sensors (FAST, GAME, and NORMAL) but I only get them to move more or less fast. The shivering is the same at different speed.
Finally I thougth I could reach my goal with a digital filter, averaging historical values. But again the icons continues moving, specially the most far placed ones (in the z axis). Please, could some one help me with some clue?
