New to Android and was wondering if we can get widgets like we can get apps?can you download them and if so where do you get them from?If they are in the app store already, how do you tell the difference

When I try to add a widget to my home screen and select "get more widgets" I get the error "Unable to download widgets. Tap to try again." Is anyone else getting this problem? I know a few people with the EVO 4g are having this issue but most of them had rooted their phone. Any way to fix this?

I successfully purchase the app, I got the e-mail that the purchase went through, then it hangs at "authorizing purchase". Specifically, I'm having this issue right now with Vignette.
I noticed today that the "downloads" section within Market no longer shows any of the free apps that I downloaded-only the two apps that I paid for are shown. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to bring this list back? A soft reset did not help.

I attempted to purchase and download beautiful widgets, which I have heard is a fantastic app, onlyb to find that whenever the download begins, it promptly ends and informs me that it was unable to download. When I view my downloads in the market, it lists beautiful widgets as purchased, but I can't download it . I paid for it using my debit card, which has worked for other paid apps perfectly. If anyone knows a solution to this problem I would appreciate any feedback immensely!

View 3 Replies View RelatedLong time lurker, first time poster here. As a brand new andoid fan, I've learned a lot from everyone here and now I would love to get help for my problem. I have downloaded lots of apps, but now there seems to be a problem. When I click to download, nothing happens, and then an orange triangle appears with the words "download was unsuccessful, please try again." I have tried all of the suggestions out there, removing and replacing the battery and SIM card, turning Wifi off and back on, logging out of Google Talk (although I seem to be automatically logged back in w/out doing anything), using 2G, 3G and Wifi.
