Android : Unable To Download Beautiful Widgets
Jul 19, 2010I attempted to purchase and download beautiful widgets, which I have heard is a fantastic app, onlyb to find that whenever the download begins, it promptly ends and informs me that it was unable to download. When I view my downloads in the market, it lists beautiful widgets as purchased, but I can't download it . I paid for it using my debit card, which has worked for other paid apps perfectly. If anyone knows a solution to this problem I would appreciate any feedback immensely!

Jun 7, 2010When I try to add a widget to my home screen and select "get more widgets" I get the error "Unable to download widgets. Tap to try again." Is anyone else getting this problem? I know a few people with the EVO 4g are having this issue but most of them had rooted their phone. Any way to fix this?

Sprint HTC Hero :: Way To Use WIDGETS / Unable To Show Screen Shots
Jan 24, 2010Okay, I've spent 2 whole hours making sure that I'm not repeating a thread and I couldn't believe no one has made a thread on their fav widgets yet and how they use them! This is something similar to Khaag27's forum so plz dont hit me with copyright infringements.
To start out, I don't have a screen capture, so I can't just show you the screen shots, which I strongly encourage others to use if they have it..rooted bastards lol..but I'll tell you which widgets I have on which screens. I also know that widgets take up a lot of your battery, but I don't see many people using them on their screens. It's like why not?
On my furthest screen to the left, I just have 3 widgets, which are my personal favorite because they tell me all my interest in life! (well almost) They are Gaming Buzz, US Sports Buzz, and Mobile Buzz by AdMob. Great widgets that I've never seen others use.
Next is just my gaming screen.
Next is the SportsTap widget. Like to stay updated with my Rockets and the Black Mamba
Home screen is the second HTC calendar widget..smaller version..i have the smaller version of HTC's weather app, which I update manually..I have the Ringer toggle widget..which is great for quickly configuring your vib..silent settings..and I have the Bible Daily verse..which is great for starting my day off
Next is Tune Wiki, which I rarely hear about lately, and Pandora. I also have iSearch..which I never see either..I'm starting to think if I'm really the only one using these!!
Next is the toggle settings for wifi..gps..etc..then the contacts widget..the smaller version..
I recently removed the mail widget as I saw that this was hogging up a lot of battery and I don't like nosey people really lol..
sorry for the long post but as said, I don't have screen capture In other words, what are you fav widgets?!! which probably should been the title lol..
Plz share as I'm always looking for uses for my screens since I'm not a rooted user and patiently waiting for 2.1!!

Jan 23, 2010Not a problem with the actual app, I just can't download it! It goes from authorizing cc to installing app, then maybe 1.5 seconds later says download unsuccessful. Want to use it in sweeter home already!

Oct 20, 2010I can't download anything through the browser, individual apps or the market (including updates. If I try it on a wifi connection (perfect connection until I try) it stops the download immediately. Either "download stopped" or "download unsuccessful". On 3G It's basically the same but slower. Since this started, last night, everything is slow on 3G. I'm also having a separate problem updating apps. I keep getting the message "Sorry, there's not enough space to install this item." I have not installed anything new and have uninstalled some apps to clear some space. I keep getting the message even after I uninstalled several games. I now have 93MB free on my phone. I'm sure that an update to an app that I already had installed doesn't need more space than that. My wife just updated the same apps on her EVO.

Feb 15, 2013I am trying to download a file from my tablet (teac tc-971v, 16gb internal storage), but when im trying to download an error pops up saying "an sd card is required to download " happens with any file im trying to download. i have enough storage avaliable (13gb free). I've tryed to download from a different browser (Dolphin).
I've tried to set the destination directory to the internal folder.(btw the default android browser doesnt have this option, only on dolphin browser)
is there any way i can download files to my internal storage without getting an sd card?

HTC Desire :: Unable To Download MMS's Ppl - Transient Error
May 28, 2010I'm having some problems downloading MMS's ppl send me, when my phone trys to download I get the error "unable to download, transient error" The messages are only 200kb is size and my phones set to receive up to a 600kb MMS. I have tried ringing Telstra & HTC both couldn't help me, and I have just Factory reset my phone and still no good. Here is my current mms settings:

MMS Proxy 10.1.1.180.
MMS Port 80. Authentication type: Normal.
HTC EVO 4G :: Unable To Download Pictures In Received Texts
Sep 25, 2010Using Handscent. (However, have same problem with the supplied "Message" app). I get the texts fine....but he photos attached won't download. I get a notification that the "Message was not downloaded"...under that it says: "Generic Network Failure". I've seen a number of posts on various forums about this...but can't find a fix. Predictably, Sprint's suggestion is to do a hard reset. (They act as if that's no big deal...seems to me that it will take a long time to get my device put back together the way it is). BTW: Have tried to access texts via 3g rather than Wi-Fi, etc. Lately, it has been one thing after the other with the EVO.

When someone sends me a pic I get an alert that it was not able to be downloaded, to retry, and then it doesn't work again. Sometimes it will push through a non received picture message from weeks ago and sometimes I just wont get any notification at all. Does Update fix the non dowloadable MMS?

Aug 7, 2010My wife recently got a SGS and we have just tried to download Kies so that she can put some music etc on it (she has a 16GB microsd card in it). However, when we try and install Kies it gets to the installation phase and then at the stage where it prompts you what to install, I selected "instal all" and then it thinks about it and comes back a minute later with a message "unable to connect to file server".Is this a common problem people have had? We are running Windows 7 64 bit, so I dont know if there is a compatability issue? If we cant get Kies to download (and I called their support line and of course no-one answers) is there another way to get data onto the phone and external card? Will I need to buy some kind of adaptor so that I can connect the microsd card and just treat it as any external hard drive?

Sep 28, 2013I am unable to download any application from samsung apps, when I open samsung apps it shows all software and all navigation works well but when I try to download anything the waiting circle comes and it stuck at waiting circle forever and then I have to exit samsung apps.
I tried uninstalling samsung apps by root uninstaller and then installing it back again from apk , I tried clear data/cache many times, I tried updating samsung apps too.Although google play is working fine.

Jan 29, 2010my testers on Droids and Nexus Ones (Android 2.0.1 and 2.1) were complaining that their downloads are failing. Since I don't have an 2.0 phone, I tried it out in a 2.0 emulator, and lo-and-behold, it didn't work. The download shows the indeterminate progress for a second or two, then shows "Download unsuccessful".
Based on what I see in the logs, it is apparent that the server is returning a 404 for the download request from 2.0 browsers. I can download to my desktop and 1.6 phone no problem. The only reason I can think of that the server would return a 404 for a request is that for some reason the credentials or cookies aren't being passed by the download process. Logcat shows: http error 404 for download x.......

Nov 25, 2009Maybe I'm late, but I just discovered that the dolphin browser is able to download you tube vidz to your SD. Even if you use the default browser, just having dolphin browser installed should enable it. Try it below (also works by going to you tube.com).
