Was playing with the touch to take feature on my DI, when suddenly the camera started displaying flashing red and blue screen. Not sure what happened there. Battery out resets did not fix it. I did a complete data reset and it returned to normal. Anyone else experience this?

I am having some serious issues with my Incredible. My camera is now blue. It was working fine, but now it will not go clear at all. It is very very blue. Should I take it back or is there a setting in the phone I am missing. I have made sure the effects are set to "None" and I have also restarted my phone. Nothing seems to work.

This morning, the screen completely got filled with blue/white/messed up color, and then went completely black. Touchscreen still worked though because I was able to maneuver around the phone right after it was dropped. Screen was not cracked. does the screen has to be replaced as well or i can replace it with smaller parts?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was taking videos on my Dinc when all of a sudden the screen started to flash pink static. The screen is completely pink, flashing, and you can't see anything through it. The only cure is to do a battery pull. I've tried everything else but a factory reset. Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone figured out a way to fix it? This is now a daily occurrence and it is very annoying because I use my camera quite a bit and have to pull the battery every time to use the camera again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had Swype, all was good. Then it started freezing my screen, or misguiding the touch to the point that removing the battery was the only option. It was not a phone issue, because I factory reset and it works now. I had to because disabling Swype did not solve the problem. Is there any beta or anything out there?I CAN'T GO BACK TO TOUCH INPUT!
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was using the camera this morning and after a few seconds the screen started flickering, it then turned a shade of purple and the view split so the bottom of the picture appeared at the top. I rebooted the phone and it was fine for about 30 seconds and then did the same. Second reboot and it appears to be ok. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? All software is as standard the phone has not been rooted (yet).

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile charging my phone today, I noticed that my LED started flashing and alternating from red to green. It was plugged into my wall and I was using it while it charged. I suspect this means Im using more juice than Im gaining because my battery was losing power. It also heated up more than usual. Returned to normal once I left it alone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wifes Incredible started shifting the home screen to the right without any touching. When its centered the screen begins swiping to the right as if a finger was there. In "all programs" it starts highlighting apps as if I was touching them but I am not. I have tried G-sensor calibration, keyboard calibration, restarts and the closing of apps but cant find where the trouble lies. Is it possible the touchscreen is now defective?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not really feeling the love for the quality of the images the Desire produces, mainly due to blue cast each image seems to have. If i want to keep an image i find I have to colour correct it with Photoshop which i hope you can appreciate is kind of annoying! Also, and this doesn't happen all the time but the screen sometimes splits in two/three when taking a photo which again is bloody annoying. Is this a known issue is there a software fix or do i have a duff unit and need to speak to HTC to repair under warranty.
View 4 Replies View RelatedLast night I exchanged my Fascinate for the Incredible due to some really poor call quality issues. Well, I am not a huge fan of Sense - mainly due to the swipe down action of answering calls and unlocking the phone but I digress. So I decided to root. I've rooted several phones before (Eris, Ally, Fascinate). I flashed the DInc last night using the unrevoked one touch method. Then I installed ROM Manager - paid version. ROM manager thought I still had the Ally so I went ahead and flashed the CWM recovery image included with ROM Manager and I think that caused a problem. Things just weren't working right so I searched the forum and found an image that I had to rename, put on the root of the SD card and then flash.
After doing that I was then able to flash the Skyraider ROM that I downloaded in ROM Manager. What I'm really looking for is a ROM with a Vanilla dialer so I tried flashing Cyanogen's 6.0.2 from ROM Manager. It downloaded but hangs at the HTC Incredible screen on bootup. Thought there may be an issue with the flash so I downloaded and installed it manually and it still hung at the boot up screen. I thought it was a problem with the cyanogen ROM so I gave up but I just tried another and am having the same problem. I flashed the MIUI ROM manually and it booted up the same screen and hung there as well. What am I doing wrong?
Flashing kernals is new to me although general rooting is not. Apparently with my new Inc I have the slcd which will only work with a few kernals. What I had to do to get some new ROMs working was flash the ROM, then flash a specific kernal before booting up. That worked and I was able to flash some ROMs that I was not previously able to use. It has come to my attention that there are some kernals out there that are better for battery life so my questions are:
1) If I want to flash a new kernal over my existing ROM can I just do that? Boot into recovery and flash the new kernal? (After a nandroid of course.) Or do I have to flash the ROM again, then flash the new kernal and then boot up? Do I need to wipe anything before flashing a new kernal?
2) What are the best kernals for battery life that work with the slcd screen?
I have a very hard time with the slide to answer feature. It frequently takes me 3-5 tries to answer a call. I would much rather be able to touch to answer. I do realize that there's a slim chance of answering calls while in my pocket, but I'd rather that then fight with the phone. Does anyone know of an application for this? I've searched various forums and there are no current threads regarding this.

View 27 Replies View Relatedso after a week and a half of having this phone the screen response has started to lack. when I first got it the phone was almost to fast for me. now it seems like it has slowed down a lot and the screen sensitivity is almost on par with my old LG Voyager. its almost like a hit or miss with what I touch.could it be that I have a screen protector on there?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have had my Incredible for 24 hours now, and I am having problems with the touch input becoming completely unresponsive. Sometimes just waiting will fix the problem, sometimes I have to turn the screen off with the power button and then turn it back on to get it to recognize input. Just as an example, for the last 20 minutes I have been trying to type my password in Market to associate my Google account in order to buy an app, and have given up because I cannot successfully get through typing my entire password without the screen becoming unresponsive to the point that I cannot finish.Also, in regards to the keyboard specifically and not the entire screen in general. When using the landscape keyboard, I CANNOT, no matter what I do, get the keyboard to recognize the character "G" every letter surrounding G works, but G is a no go.Last night I even did a hard reset and that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.
View 14 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question about the Captivate. I just got myself an HTC Aria and I love how easy it is to use the touch screen on it. Its extremely responsive. Now my sister has the SamSung Instinct on Sprint and the touch screen is horrible compared to HTCs touch on the Aria. Im thinking about taking the HTC back to AT&T and getting the Samsung Captivate. I am just worried about the touch screen on it and if it will be like the Instincts? If the touch is as good as HTCs Ill get it. If its not, then Ill stick with the Aria because despite its size, its an extremely fun and responsive phone. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed this? With the phone laying on a table/counter/couch, the touchscreen normally doesn't respond at all. When it does, it's very glitchy, and pretty useless for anything that requires a swipe (like navigating home screens). I've tried all sorts of combinations of what finger I use, angle, and pressure, but it seems like as soon as I pick up the phone and do the same thing I was doing, it works fine. Just me or no?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had this issue happen a few times, so I disregarded it, but a few hours ago it happened 3 times in a row.I'm in the middle of a phone call, and suddenly I hear a beep, and I look at the phone and the call was disconnected (I'm back on the 'Phone' screen). I then realize that the phone becomes unresponsive (the screen doesn't respond, same thing goes for the Home/Menu/Back/Search buttons).The only thing I can do is press the top 'Off/Lock' button to shut off the screen, then press it again, and everything goes back to normal.Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, any advice/solutions?My phone is stock, no rooting or roms. I've downloaded a few apps from Android market and that's about it.My 30-day purchase window is up in about a week, so I'd like to get this resolved before then to avoid any headaches.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've read about a possible grounding issue with the some screens, but I haven't read about the issue I'm having. Randomly the touchscreen will stop working... It doesn't matter what I have open it will just stop working. The system is still running, calendar alerts will pop up, and the time will still advance, but I can't do anything with the phone and have to pull the battery and force a reboot to get the screen to respond. I initially thought maybe it was an app, but this has happened with nothing running except the default apps.
