View 6 Replies View RelatedI know that iphone users can jail break to get the old school emulators and I think that by now, there are some emulators in the apple market. My question is on a couple levels...
- Without jailbreaking, can you get roms on the iphone for free?
- If so how?
- How well does the on screen controller work
- Is the small screen you have to use on the iphone emu an issue?
Also add any feedback you like and your opinion as well. I'm just curious that's all. Hopefully one of you has experience in this field
I was reading about them and it said aomthing bout roms so im not sure and my phone is not rooted and I don't plan on rooting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn Friday I should be getting my new HTC Hero (I'm in the U.K so its not the Sprint one) and I'm looking for games for it. I before it had a iPhone and used it MASSIVELY for games, and want to use my HTC Hero for the same as well. I'm already going to be getting the new Game loft ones out, as well as the GBA Emulators etc. (Side note, do the Emulators run smoothly?) But yeah i want mostly 3D good games, could someone tell me some please?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently broke my G1 and I am thinking of buying the Samsung Vibrant. Since the Vibrant is touchscreen only I would have a hard time playing Nesoid, SNesoid, etc. I researched the app "Wiimote controller" but unfortunately it does not work for the Vibrant. Should I buy the Vibrant even though I use my phone to play emulators? Or should I just wait for the Samsung Epic or just buy the MyTouch Slide because both have physical keyboards?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm gonna be honest here... When I found out that i could have GBA and SNES emulators on my android, I made up my mind. I tryed it out a bit on my friend's Motorola Flipout and was working just perfectly. However, on my own Flipout, the games are all "laggy". Not to mention the music which plays one note every 1 second or so... bummer. I know it's not the ROM, for i have tested with the same one my friend used... so I'm guessing it's a setting in either the phone or the emulator. Any adeas? ps: I'm using the free versions of the gameboid and snesoid
View 1 Replies View Relatedim looking for any site or places to download emulators for the eris.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted Moment and just downloaded the lite version of the Genesis emulator because I want to test it out before i decide if i should buy it, or the SNES/NES ones. My questions are what are the best sites to download roms for these emulators and then how do you run them? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to phones and OS's so any help would be great.
Really the only games im looking for are Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. Mario of course for the SNES/NES. I remember trying to find Mario for the emulator I had on my computer but couldn't find any.
A friend of mine has the g1 with a nes emulator on it and a crap load of roms. Do these emulators work for android in general or are they phone specific? (new to android phones btw) If they do can anyone point me in the right direction to getting a good emulator and some roms for my moto cliq.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I use multitouch, as soon as my fingers get close to the same axis, they seem to snap onto the same axis. Is this normal, as it makes playing some games and emulators rather fiddly. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
View 3 Replies View RelatedI ve just installed them + loaded some .nes , . smc games. None of them work. I tap them to open and application force closes or it opens the menu of the emulator.

View 2 Replies View Relatedso after a week and a half of having this phone the screen response has started to lack. when I first got it the phone was almost to fast for me. now it seems like it has slowed down a lot and the screen sensitivity is almost on par with my old LG Voyager. its almost like a hit or miss with what I touch.could it be that I have a screen protector on there?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have had my Incredible for 24 hours now, and I am having problems with the touch input becoming completely unresponsive. Sometimes just waiting will fix the problem, sometimes I have to turn the screen off with the power button and then turn it back on to get it to recognize input. Just as an example, for the last 20 minutes I have been trying to type my password in Market to associate my Google account in order to buy an app, and have given up because I cannot successfully get through typing my entire password without the screen becoming unresponsive to the point that I cannot finish. Also, in regards to the keyboard specifically and not the entire screen in general. When using the landscape keyboard, I CANNOT, no matter what I do, get the keyboard to recognize the character "G" every letter surrounding G works, but G is a no go.Last night I even did a hard reset and that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.
View 14 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question about the Captivate. I just got myself an HTC Aria and I love how easy it is to use the touch screen on it. Its extremely responsive. Now my sister has the SamSung Instinct on Sprint and the touch screen is horrible compared to HTCs touch on the Aria. Im thinking about taking the HTC back to AT&T and getting the Samsung Captivate. I am just worried about the touch screen on it and if it will be like the Instincts? If the touch is as good as HTCs Ill get it. If its not, then Ill stick with the Aria because despite its size, its an extremely fun and responsive phone. Any thoughts?
View 10 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed this? With the phone laying on a table/counter/couch, the touchscreen normally doesn't respond at all. When it does, it's very glitchy, and pretty useless for anything that requires a swipe (like navigating home screens). I've tried all sorts of combinations of what finger I use, angle, and pressure, but it seems like as soon as I pick up the phone and do the same thing I was doing, it works fine. Just me or no?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had this issue happen a few times, so I disregarded it, but a few hours ago it happened 3 times in a row.I'm in the middle of a phone call, and suddenly I hear a beep, and I look at the phone and the call was disconnected (I'm back on the 'Phone' screen). I then realize that the phone becomes unresponsive (the screen doesn't respond, same thing goes for the Home/Menu/Back/Search buttons). The only thing I can do is press the top 'Off/Lock' button to shut off the screen, then press it again, and everything goes back to normal. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, any advice/solutions?My phone is stock, no rooting or roms. I've downloaded a few apps from Android market and that's about it.My 30-day purchase window is up in about a week, so I'd like to get this resolved before then to avoid any headaches.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've read about a possible grounding issue with the some screens, but I haven't read about the issue I'm having. Randomly the touchscreen will stop working... It doesn't matter what I have open it will just stop working. The system is still running, calendar alerts will pop up, and the time will still advance, but I can't do anything with the phone and have to pull the battery and force a reboot to get the screen to respond. I initially thought maybe it was an app, but this has happened with nothing running except the default apps.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there such a thing for the HTC desire? also, is there a app that lets you see how many multi touch points the htc desire has? i saw some youtube vids where that have this app and they put as many fingers as they can on the screen and scribble around.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWas playing with the touch to take feature on my DI, when suddenly the camera started displaying flashing red and blue screen. Not sure what happened there. Battery out resets did not fix it. I did a complete data reset and it returned to normal. Anyone else experience this?
