View 2 RepliesI'm not liking that you have to really press on the soft keys to work. Is there any way to adjust the sensibility of them?
View 2 Replies View RelatedLooking for a few tips on reducing my lag without rooting. I have read mixed reviews on the advanced task killer and also am not sure how i should set the frequency and level of kill if I did use it. Also is there a major difference in lag if I were to root. I like the phones stock features and wouldn't be interested in doing anything other than speeding the phone up. I have jailbroken an iPhone so I may be a little familiar with the process but all help is appreciated.

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo, in 1.5 there were all these complaints (from me, too) that the vibrate on the Eris is useless. But with 2.1, I can definitely feel a difference. Well, I can feel it at all, which is a huge difference. So kudos to HTC for seeing a problem and fixing it. Could be stronger, but still, much much better.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI dont remember this in 1.5 but when I place a call and it connects, the phone vibrates. Checked all settings I could think of and all vibrate is disabled and it still does it. Is this a bug? Or am I missing where to turn this off.
View 8 Replies View RelatedUsing Handcent SMS, but my phone won't vibrate when I get a message. It vibrates when I get a call.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I never had this problem before, and I don't know what I may have changed that started it. Before my eris would play the notification sound within a second of the vibration. Now, my phone lags for about 2 or 3 seconds, vibrating first, then ringing. use the native SMS program, and I don't want to have to download any new apps like chompSMS or anything, I just want my phone to start working again.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone for a couple weeks, and I can't figure out how to make it vibrate when I get a text message. I have been through the settings, but can't figure it out. Anyone mind helping?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need a feature similar to the one in Handcent. Where i could make the phone vibrate multiple times for a long time. I got rid of handcent and am really missing this. Is there another app with just this feature?
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy phone just does not vibrate anymore. I've checked all my settings and they all say that it's on vibrate, but when I get a notification or a call it doesn't do anything (except the sound).

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll I want to do is create a simple "vibrate" profile that turns phone calls and text messages to vibrate. I have the call part but the messages just come in silently with no vibrate. I have the following in the task:
1) Vibrate on Notify: On
2) Vibrate on Ringer: On
3) Silent Mode: Vibrate
My phone when in vibrate mode doesnt vibrate when i receive a text, but does if i receive a call, all settings are as they should be for it to vibrate....
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone figured out a solution to the really weak vibrate on the Eris yet?
View 16 Replies View RelatedIm recently having a problem with the vibrate function with text messages. When getting a new text, it acts as if its on silent and not vibrate or anything but when i receive a phone call it vibrates. So i download Handscent to see if it vibrates with that app and it didnt. I have been throuh all the settings it seems like and I still cant get a vibrate with new sms messages.
View 45 Replies View RelatedIf you set something, let's say messages, to vibrate, it vibrates even when the phone isn't in vibrate mode. In other words, in normal mode - you'll get an audible alert and vibrate. If you turn off vibrate for messaging, then switch the phone profile to vibrate, the phone doesn't vibrate for messages. So it seems like it's all or none - vibrate always on, or always off. Is this what others have found? I tried installing Quick Profiles and creating profiles but the behavior is the same. Is there an app that has more granular control and can actually control vibrate?
View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since 2.1 my phone doesn't vibrate for SMS/MMS. I use the native messenger and I have notifications on and vibrate on, but it only vibrates for calls when in vibrate mode.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis may have been said before about incoming messages or maybe calls, but I'm wondering how to turn off vibrate during call waiting. In other words, when I am on a call and someone else calls, the thing continues to vibrate. I would just like a beep or two.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't figure out how to make all sounds (rings and notifications) to be on vibrate. Any help? Thanks!
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason no matter what I do I can't seem to get my vibrate to work when I receive a text message. It used ti work until one day it just stopped. I have tried everything I could think of except doing a hard reset, which I don't really want to do. It seems to only not want to work with text messages. Phone works fine, as far as vibrate goes, and anything else that vibrates works without a problem.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to turn the vibration off for text messages? It's quite loud and interrupts meetings on occasion.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried handcent and chomp. For some reason I can not get the phone to vibrate when I receive a message. It works with the weak stock Eris vibration, but nothing with chomp or handcent.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to make the vibration stronger. I'm used to my Curve where the vibration was strong. But the eris is very weak, most of the time when it's in the case on my belt I miss calls because I can't feel it.

I use LMT's PIE feature to navigate and I find it much more useful. I personally like PIE better so I have more screen space.
