This may have been said before about incoming messages or maybe calls, but I'm wondering how to turn off vibrate during call waiting. In other words, when I am on a call and someone else calls, the thing continues to vibrate. I would just like a beep or two.

This is a stupid question, but I never had it right on any phone. I can figure out complex things, but When I answer a call waiting, how do I switch back and forth between the original conversation? Do I press send? Is there any way to conference other than Google Voice?

Is there a way I can turn the vibrate on press off for the dialer? I think that is causing some of the lag. Nothing on my phone vibrates except when receiving a call and when dialing. It's much more responsive with vibrate on press turned off. Also is there a way to silence the emergency dialer?

When on a call, the proximity sensor doesnt work, so the screen goes black. And when i press the end call button to turn the screen back on it just ends the call. Is this normal? Or a known issue?
Often during my calls I can hear a call waiting tone (double beep) but when I look at the screen there is no parallell call? Am I hearing the other persons call waiting or is it a glitch in my phone? I had this issue on every ROM, 2.1, 2.2 and live in Sweden (if it makes a difference)

I have not had the phone long enough to have much call waiting experiences but the times I did, I noticed I had to press menu and then go thru a menu to "click over" to the other call. This is g=fine and dandy from the comfort of your couch but is not advisable if you are driving a car. Is there a one button shortcut to go to the other call without having to look at a menu?

When I am on a phone call and another call comes through, that person's Caller ID contact list name does not come up, just their phone number (even though they are in my contact list). Go to answer the other call let them know I will call them back later...other caller hangs up and then the call just hangs there in dead air. So now both of my lines are occupied while I am only talking to 1 person.PLEASE let me know if there is a fix to this issue because it is a big deal for me. If they wait too long they are going to have to compete with Navigon and Google's own navigation software. I've personally used iGo Nav N Go on my HTC Eris and like it a lot.(Don't ask for links or how to.) I'm willing to purchase it when it's released.

In Gmail I have my contacts sorted by groups, easy enough, on occasion I need to add a new group or move a contact from one group to another, which is easy enough using a pc and my Gmail account. However, I cannot seem to add new groups or edit existing groups on my Moment. I can see the groups, I can sort by groups, but I cannot find an option that will allow me to add or edit any groups. Does anyone know how this is done on the Moment? I suppose I could use the browser to log on to my Gmail account and change it from there but isnt that sort of redundant since I am on my Gmail account using the Moment? Also, maybe someone knows when Moment contacts sync with my Gmail why dont the contact photos sync? One more thing, anyone ever on a call and it goes dead and after a few seconds the phone rings with unknown in the caller ID. When answer it is some from my address book that should have appeared in my caller ID Anyway, now I have to quickly hang up on this person to call the person my phone hung up on to receive this call. Its like the call waiting gets disengaged and hangs up the present call to allow the new incoming. I also had this problem on a HTC Hero I had before I got the Moment also.

When I push the end button to "turn on" the phone (i.e., wake the phone up), I get a black screen with the HTC symbol monentarily. Then, once that goes away, my background appears but nothing else except the waiting icon. I've been told that this is a conflict between something I have installed and the Sense UI.
View 29 Replies View RelatedI am new to rooting and I am using Nonsensikal 5.4 and when I am on a call using my bluetooth or a wired headset, I can't get the screen to turn back on during the call. The only one that turns it on is the end button and that hangs up the call. Sometimes I need to get a number or some other info off the phone. So I have to hang up get the info and call the person back. Is there a setting I can change to fix this. I already tried trackball wake in the cyanogenMod settings.
