I accidentally deleted all 3 icons out of the standard dock bar at the bottom (CM7) and want to reinstate them.
When trying to reinstate the "contacts" button, I can't find the proper ADW-launcher icon for it. Where are these located, how can I chose them?

hey there i am new to this site and new to the android platform. I have figured everything out for the most part. but i purchased the launcherpro plus or whatever for my samsung epic and i customized the dock icons. They are really small i don't know why. but is there anyone out there that knows how to make the dock icons bigger?

I have the HTC One X so if I use a different launcher now (ADW, Go etc) I get my desktop shorterned by the "Menu" on screen button.
How I can stick to the standard launcher but have a transparent dock?

If you open the icon settings dialog however, the custom icon is still there!
There are two parts, the circular disc that sticks to the glass and then the actual holder which suctions against the disc. Do y'all leave the holder attached at all times? Even when you get out of the car? Or do you take it on and off as you use it? I'm just wondering how secure that disc is to the glass.

3 of 4 dock icons disappear after rebooting the phone. It doesn't happen always, just in approximately 50% cases.
Now, it happened after closing and app and returing to launchscreen, plus one widget was gone too It's becoming really annoying, plus I'm having serious issues with connecting to wifi. I guess I'll just start using again Gingerbread that actually works, instead of this piece of... unfinished, not working ...thing
I got my DX almost two weeks ago, and immediately ordered the Motorola Car Dock. When you dock it, and it goes into car dock mode, it has a "My Location" button, which takes you to a google map with some overlayed buttons (some kind of skin, essentially). You can select "Nav" on that screen, but it does not take you to the Google Nav app, instead it opens up a dialog box, where you can enter your destination. Then it will work like Google Nav. It really stinks that if you return to the cardock home screen, to change your music or something, when you come back to the My Location> Nav, you will have to re-enter your destination.
Another huge frustration from the lack of integration with the Google Nav app, is when you use the standard Google Nav App (like set a destination, before you leave the house), and then get in the car and enter car dock mode, you can not access your current Nav through car dock mode. You can still get back to it, but you have to exit "car dock mode", and open the Google Nav App. Anyone have any solutions to this? If it were possible, the simplest thing would be to remove the "My Location" button and replace it with a shortcut to the Google Nav App. It does not appear that you can change any of the preset buttons. There is one button that you can set, but I have it set for Pandora, since I use it frequently.
Does anybody know where to get the standard power control widget icons from?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI must say LP is kinda cool, gives you a different feel of the phone. Right now i'm only using one screen, and 1 dock (not multiple dock screens), but i guess i'm just trying to find out if this is actually any different than the normal senseUI. I see there are limited icons, and we can either use the LP icons, or the default icons, but maybe there is an expansion pack for LP that i'm not understanding? Also, what are you guys using as a clock. With LP, i can only add the analog clock, or other wigdet clocks i've downloaded, but can't load 10 clocks that came with the phone. I'm assuming those are senseUI clocks, and will not work with LP. Should i download clock widgets that will work with LP? Also, since i'm only using 1 screen, and 1 dock, and i really not utilizing LP to the max here ? I should be using the dock more, and using it for more applications to quickly pull up right? Does anyone have any advice on how to customize it a little bit to make the experience more enjoyable, or make it worth the while ?Also, battery life? Any difference? Is it the same? I have ATK that i run every once in a while to kill some buggy apps/games, I noticed that LP is running and taking up a good amount of resources, has anyone reported a really bad battery due to LP being installed?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my custom icons on my LauncherPro dock disappearing after my phone goes on standby, or I plug in my phone to my pc, or something like that.The icons switch back from the custom to the standard LauncherPro icons. However, it's not doing it on every icon, the mail and text custom icons stay, but the phone, app drawer, and web icons revert back to stock.

One slight problem though, I'm running Defrost 2.9a with Launcher Pro, and have changed the dock icons to custom ones. However, every so often, two of these custom icons revert back to the original ones for no reason?! Anybody had anything similar. I would definitely pay for the Pro version of this app, if I knew that would fix the issue...

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the dock bar configured on my Droid Eris with the default icons, but I have changed the default application for each (i.e. the message icon opens Handcent instead of the default messaging app). However, I'd like to have the icon be the app that its actually running. How can I do this? I tried long-pressing the button and selecting "Change Icon" from the menu, but I can only use either the default LP icons or I can pick a picture from the Photo album. I'd really like to have the Handcent icon for the messaging button, etc.Any ideas? I've seen a few threads on here where people have changed them, but none mention HOW they've changed them.

For example, when data is being loaded, you see the "Loading" text with the green revolving arrow to indicate that something is happening, or when you are asked if you want to take a photo, you see the gray camera icon image. I have also seen private apps downloaded from the market use these same icons. So.
1) Are these images available for our use? I'm sure my apps would look more pro if they used them.
2) Is it recommended that android developers follow the standard look and feel in their apps?
so i made a wonderful discovery this weekend that my phone will take a charge from my CD deck in my car that has a USB jack. my concern is, that it may end up damaging the phone somehow and i was beyond paranoid. does anyone know if it is a safe thing to do? Does the USB standard have a standard power output?

I have managed to get it to boot to TRWP by pressing the power and + keys. I see this:
There are no images to "restore" under the restore tab. This is what I see:
provide me with a kernel file or some tips on how to restore the machine to it's 'out-of-the-box' configuration. I want to donate this device to a young child and need to get it back into a kid friendly mode.
