I'm having an issue with my custom icons on my LauncherPro dock disappearing after my phone goes on standby, or I plug in my phone to my pc, or something like that.The icons switch back from the custom to the standard LauncherPro icons. However, it's not doing it on every icon, the mail and text custom icons stay, but the phone, app drawer, and web icons revert back to stock.

hey there i am new to this site and new to the android platform. I have figured everything out for the most part. but i purchased the launcherpro plus or whatever for my samsung epic and i customized the dock icons. They are really small i don't know why. but is there anyone out there that knows how to make the dock icons bigger?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have the dock bar configured on my Droid Eris with the default icons, but I have changed the default application for each (i.e. the message icon opens Handcent instead of the default messaging app). However, I'd like to have the icon be the app that its actually running. How can I do this? I tried long-pressing the button and selecting "Change Icon" from the menu, but I can only use either the default LP icons or I can pick a picture from the Photo album. I'd really like to have the Handcent icon for the messaging button, etc.Any ideas? I've seen a few threads on here where people have changed them, but none mention HOW they've changed them.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to have a LauncherPro style dock but still using Sense?I like the way LauncherPro has Web/Phone/Text etc icons along the bottom which frees up screen space. Sense only gives 3 of which the '+' button is pointless as it is just the same as a long press. Would rather avoid changing altogether to LP if at all possible.

If I use the hide status bar option I get an empty Black bar at the top and half the icons are pushed down at The bottom of the screen. Not all the time just now and again. The icons stil function ......I know its probably linked to an app I'm running But I can't find which one after many deletes and Reinstalls.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have launcher pro on my evo and when i change my icons to the custom icons i put on the phone after a little bit they all go back to the original grey icons except for my email one. Does anyone know whats going on here? Also i cannot change the way the normal icons look. No matter how long i hold down the icon the only thing that hapens is it gives me the option to put it in the trash can.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI don't know if any of you guys know this, but this was an awesome discovery to me. I found out that you can actually move left and right on the dock to add more icons! There are 2x more sets of 5 that you can add. I found this by accidentally swiping right on the dock when I wanted to change homescreens. I now have to change my homescreens because now I can add 15 of my most used apps on the dock, which will clear up the screen space for more stuff. I'm already having trouble filling up the 7 screens.LauncherPro is AWESOME!Have any kind of "secret" tips with this app?

They become stock android icons.After some troubleshooting, I noticed that if I open up the [place where all the apps are stored] and long press dragged them to the home screen I want, they will retain the proper icon after reboot.

One slight problem though, I'm running Defrost 2.9a with Launcher Pro, and have changed the dock icons to custom ones. However, every so often, two of these custom icons revert back to the original ones for no reason?! Anybody had anything similar. I would definitely pay for the Pro version of this app, if I knew that would fix the issue...

Whenever i try using custom icons for launcher pro plus, they are always extremely small. The Launcher Pro icons are a good size, but whenever i try to use a custom icon they are always half the size of what i want them to be. Anyone else seem to have this problem?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed CyanogenMod 10 20130110-NIGHTLY to my Motorola Defy+ and I am experiencing this problem:
3 of 4 dock icons disappear after rebooting the phone. It doesn't happen always, just in approximately 50% cases.
Now, it happened after closing and app and returing to launchscreen, plus one widget was gone too It's becoming really annoying, plus I'm having serious issues with connecting to wifi. I guess I'll just start using again Gingerbread that actually works, instead of this piece of... unfinished, not working ...thing
I like Sense, but I also like LauncherPro.. especially the animations when you click the 'apps' button and the menu zooms in and has a 3d effect. Is there anyway to add that effect with out Launcher Pro ?

Because I get to edit files, but I am looking for a long time without finding how to put ALL the icons on the left, and keep only the icons on the right as in the picture.
I notice that the home screen is customizable but not the four applications on the bottom, the call, email, browser and applications. How would I change those icons with different icons? Mainly the email and browser. How do I turn off or at least severly limit the data that goes to and from my phone. I do not have wireless and am just a bit paranoid about going over my data limit. I got the phone from work and this is my first smartphone so I am a bit nervous about anything I do on it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not a great mobile phone user and until recently used to get by with an old Nokia pay-as-you go. My iPod Touch recently got stolen, so I was looking for a replacement and thought if I got myself an Android phone (although I had no experience with Android), I could still listen to music and even have a camera, whilst having less in my pocket.
So I bought myself a Vodaphone 845 pay-as-you-go running Android 2.1 the other day and popped my old SIM card in it. The day after I bought the phone, it started beeping at me at regular intervals because it was sending me lots of text messages telling me all my credit was gone. I topped it up with € 10 wondering why I suddenly had no more credit - although there was not much in the first place. To be on the safe side, I turned off a couple of running applications and checked the credit again at the end of the day to find that it had not been reduced.
That night I turned the phone off, but when I turned it back on again, I noticed that the credit was steadily going down. This time I can't seem to stop it. I also discovered that all the services/applications I previously turned off were now running again after the phone had been rebooted.
I can't say I understand the technology (yet), but I assume something in/on the phone is trying to call home (via the SIM card?). But what? I have now also turned off the WiFi and the location finding settings, but the credit is still going down.
The applications I have installed so far ar Market, Google Navigator, and My Tracks.
