So I've noticed a lot of people rocking the colored text icons in their dock.I have the dreamly dock text icons, but its simply black/white and was wondering if someone can post a link to the icon pack where I can get the ones with different colors in them.

hey there i am new to this site and new to the android platform. I have figured everything out for the most part. but i purchased the launcherpro plus or whatever for my samsung epic and i customized the dock icons. They are really small i don't know why. but is there anyone out there that knows how to make the dock icons bigger?

I was kind of bothered by the dim piss colored lights on my old one. They are almost as white and bright as the touch buttons that were on my old droid incStill wish the time out on them could be longer.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI notice that the home screen is customizable but not the four applications on the bottom, the call, email, browser and applications. How would I change those icons with different icons? Mainly the email and browser. How do I turn off or at least severly limit the data that goes to and from my phone. I do not have wireless and am just a bit paranoid about going over my data limit. I got the phone from work and this is my first smartphone so I am a bit nervous about anything I do on it.

I use Gmail instead of the Mail app, so I would like to remove the Mail app and put Gmail there instead. My problem start when I have a multi colored SpannableStringBuilder which I want to write to the canvas, and I have no idea how to do this. SpannableStringBuilder has a drawText() method which I have been unable to use. Or is there some other method to write a string to a canvas where some of the letters have a different color?
is there a way to edit the home row of icons. like switch the email one with the gmail app.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using Launcher pro, and at random times, I go to the home screen to see all the icons missing. The dock's still there, but yeah. Only way to fix this would be to restart Launcher Pro, after which I'll have to wait around 30 seconds to even a minute at time for everything to come back. Is there some fix to this/maybe better alternative for launcher/quicker way to get the icons back...?

Concurrently, I've noticed a significant drop in battery life. I don't know if the two are related but I do know that those little icons are annoying.
I haven't sprung for a profile app yet, considering Locale and Setting Profiles. Anyone know if there is one available that has a lot of functionality, as well as a dynamic icon that will display what profile is active?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my custom icons on my LauncherPro dock disappearing after my phone goes on standby, or I plug in my phone to my pc, or something like that.The icons switch back from the custom to the standard LauncherPro icons. However, it's not doing it on every icon, the mail and text custom icons stay, but the phone, app drawer, and web icons revert back to stock.

One slight problem though, I'm running Defrost 2.9a with Launcher Pro, and have changed the dock icons to custom ones. However, every so often, two of these custom icons revert back to the original ones for no reason?! Anybody had anything similar. I would definitely pay for the Pro version of this app, if I knew that would fix the issue...

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the dock bar configured on my Droid Eris with the default icons, but I have changed the default application for each (i.e. the message icon opens Handcent instead of the default messaging app). However, I'd like to have the icon be the app that its actually running. How can I do this? I tried long-pressing the button and selecting "Change Icon" from the menu, but I can only use either the default LP icons or I can pick a picture from the Photo album. I'd really like to have the Handcent icon for the messaging button, etc.Any ideas? I've seen a few threads on here where people have changed them, but none mention HOW they've changed them.

When trying to reinstate the "contacts" button, I can't find the proper ADW-launcher icon for it. Where are these located, how can I chose them?
Whenever i try using custom icons for launcher pro plus, they are always extremely small. The Launcher Pro icons are a good size, but whenever i try to use a custom icon they are always half the size of what i want them to be. Anyone else seem to have this problem?
