View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the latest version of GO Launcher Theme Factory, and I've made a theme with around 30 icons, but I can't seem to add custom icons for other apps that aren't in GO's list. For example, I want to add a Nexflix icon for my theme, but I can't because when I double click on the add custom icon button, GO wants me to open an .apk file, not an image file. How to add a new icon to the list where it's actually an image file, or .apk file that I could download to my comp that has a bunch of custom icons listed (I'll make my own actual icons).

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirstly, I love this app! Finally got my Desire looking awesome! One slight problem though, I'm running Defrost 2.9a with Launcher Pro, and have changed the dock icons to custom ones. However, every so often, two of these custom icons revert back to the original ones for no reason?! Anybody had anything similar. I would definitely pay for the Pro version of this app, if I knew that would fix the issue...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have launcherPro installed and love it. I'm curious if anyone knows what pixel size to use when making custom icons for the dock.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI download a custom icon pack to my sd, which the icons are in png form. I'm using laucher pro and when i try to use custom icons option, the gallery opens up and Im assuming that its only reading jpeg files and doesnt show the PNG files anywhere. So how would i be able to assign those custom icons if so.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm sure that many of you are aware of this, but for those who aren't, you can now have Custom Icons on your Droid X without the use of any special Launchers. The program that allows you to do this is known as Desktop Visualizer. If you have either downloaded any Custom Icon pack, or simply transferred some custom icons over from your Computer, Desktop Visualizer will allow you to choose the Custom icon that you desire, and then choose the Application or task that you want it to replace.
The really neat thing about this is the ability to create several different sizes of your downloaded Custom Icons. Simply long press on an available space on your home screen and choose from one of 4 different Icon sizes.
Please note that the "Small SS" size creates a smaller icon than the "Small" size, even though it comes first in the list. Also, be aware that some of your Custom Icons may appear sharper than others when enlarged. I assume that these were created at a higher resolution, or whatever the terminology might be.
Im running the latest update of launcher pro, but I have one problem when I change the default icons to my custom ones and if i go from lets say landscape back to normal all my icons revert back to default.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI change the launcher icons and they revert back after a day or so for some reason. Its only the phone, text and web launch icons though.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI accidentally deleted all 3 icons out of the standard dock bar at the bottom (CM7) and want to reinstate them.
When trying to reinstate the "contacts" button, I can't find the proper ADW-launcher icon for it. Where are these located, how can I chose them?
I'm using Apex Launcher with the Tablet ModUI on my E4GT (Sprint GS2) and for some reason I don't have anything related to "dock" in Apex Launcher.
I have dock options, and a dock in ADW and Nova. I prefer Apex just because I can have 8x8 as compared to 7x7 in Nova, and ADW makes the icons too little.
With all this screen space, I can tolerate not having a dock, but I still want one. Where are dock settings? Maybe I turned them off or something.
The weird thing is I don't see anything related to the dock. Lyk "scrollable dock" or "dock pages" or anything. It's as if Apex Launcher doesn't have a dock.
Here are some screen shots of the Apex Settings and home screens. The tiny icons are ADW and the ICS icons are Nova. The screen with no Dock is how Apex looks.
I even uninstalled and re-installed the app.
I have been using nova launcher and have been able to add sms unread widgets to the dock area.
Is it possible to add widgets to the dock area in apex launcher. I have tried and failed.
Using aokp build 33 rom.
I can't remember how to do it
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe other night, something updated on my HTC One (running Venom with GoLauncher EX) and the icons got all jacked-up. Some Google apps reappeared on the dock, a widget got pushed on top of another, etc. It looks like when the Google apps updated, they felt the need to reinstall themselves on the dock -- not sure, but that's not my main question.
When all of this happened, I lost the "grid" looking icon that will show All Apps and I'm not sure how to get it back. At this time, I can only see the apps I've put on my "home" pages, and in order to see All Apps, I must do an "add" and browse that way.
How do I get the all-apps grid thing back?
I have searched up and down the web but can't find a way of making the HTC Sense launcher transparent WITHOUT changing launcher.
I have the HTC One X so if I use a different launcher now (ADW, Go etc) I get my desktop shorterned by the "Menu" on screen button.
How I can stick to the standard launcher but have a transparent dock?
I am a galaxy s2 gt-i9100 user and i use touchwiz launcher in landscape mode. I have edited my launcher to look like a tablet for my s2 but i wanted to know how to hide the dock from the launcher or move the app drawer icon on top right or bottom right. Is there a way to do this? Also i dont want to install a different rom or launcher.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed CyanogenMod 10 20130110-NIGHTLY to my Motorola Defy+ and I am experiencing this problem:
3 of 4 dock icons disappear after rebooting the phone. It doesn't happen always, just in approximately 50% cases.
Now, it happened after closing and app and returing to launchscreen, plus one widget was gone too It's becoming really annoying, plus I'm having serious issues with connecting to wifi. I guess I'll just start using again Gingerbread that actually works, instead of this piece of... unfinished, not working ...thing
Is there a launcher/launcher theme that has just letters for apps(no icons)?

I've tried Go Launcher EX, but I hated the small dock icons. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Nexus, is there a Launcher that:
1. Don't alter the ICS dock icon size, or that have an option to resize the dock icons?
2. That support swipe gesture in the dock? (Swipe upwards to open shortcut)
3. Where it is easy to swap icons?
Which Launcher can do this?
There are many launchers with the featuring allowing resizing of widgets.
But I have yet to find a launcher that allows scaling of icons. I can't resize my application icons to 2x2 size, then change it to a custom image since the default icon would be blurry by the resizing.
Any launcher that does that?
I have been loosing icons on my home screen whenever I update an app that will also update the icon image. Most of them are non -google apps. If it is a google app, and the icon changes, then the old icon is updated without problem.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm testing out Lightning Launcher on my SGS4 and so far, I really like what I see -- especially the ability to "pin" icons in a certain location.
But I've noticed that some icons (not all) have a line above them for some reason. At first, I wanted to get rid of all the lines. But then I realized that I'd like to show them on some icons -- but I want to control which ones.
I want to pin two rows of icons to create sort of a 2-row dock. And I'd like to have a line above the top row.
how to control this line?
I am using adw launcher ex and theme chooser to customize my phones gui.
I have encountered a small problem with icons, i dont want to use the themes icons i want to use the default icons of the phone is this possible i have searched the menu and options but found nothing?
i've installed Nova launcher on my tablets and phone and love it but there's one issue I can't seem to find anything about.
I set my launch screen to have say 7wide*5high icons then this will look good in landscape but when rotating to portrait the amount of icons is rotated also so it's at 7 wide and 5 high even though the aspect ratio has flipped. I don't get why launchers don't just rotate the icons on the spot so that it looks good in one rotation and not the other.
