Mar 18, 2010In the Email program, I can't delete messages from the Trash folder. They just reappear! How do I delete them for good?

Samsung Moment :: How To Get Rid Of Trash?
Dec 28, 2009How can I get rid of all the Trash! I finally figured out how to delete emails from the inbox, but now they end up in the Trash instead! I have tried to read as much as I have time for regarding email. Perhaps I set it up incorrectly from the beginning. I use Outlook/Comcast and set it up in the "regular email" Perhaps I should delete that one and use Work email?

Jun 1, 2010I added a hotmail account to my emails on my Moment,, and now I can't figure out how to delete the hotmail account. I spent 20 minutes on the phone today with Sprint, then I must have driven through a dead spot b/c just as they were going to help me the call was dropped from my end. Nov 9, 2009Been messing around with the Moment for a couple of days now. The battery life kinda sucks but the phone is very cool. Fast downloads and the Android Market is great. how to remove apps that came preloaded ie: weather channel, bejeweled demo? Also when you return to the browser it takes you back to where you returned to the home screen telling me it keeps pages running. Any idea how to stop or shut them down when you exit them?

Dec 15, 2009There is some junk on the applications page that I don't think I'll ever use and would like to delete. For example the Bejeweled Demo and some kind of Nascar thing. I followed the basic instructions to press and hold down the icon until the trash appears and then tried dragging them into the trash but they would not disappear. This works for the shortcuts on the first page but not for the two items I've tried on the application "pull-up" They will select and drag but not delete.

Here's my issue: I tried to open it and it prompted me to update. I tried this four or five times, with no success--before realizing that my problem was probably that I had not authorized an "extra fee" service.

Apr 18, 2010Pretty much ever since I flashed over to 2.1 I don't receive any of my emails anymore. The only ones I do get are my work ones and that's connected directly to the Exchange server. I have a total of 4 emails being sent to my phone, My gmail, Hotmail, and 2 from my website exile-designs.com. I have the settings to check every 15 minutes but I never get any. Anyone have any idea's on this? I know the settings are right for sure on my Hotmail because I can pull that one up and see my old email's sitting in my inbox. The other 3 accounts should all be fine as well.

Apr 5, 2010I just got the Moment the other day, and one of the first things I did was to try and set-up my 2 hotmail accounts. After I put in my address and password it said "checking incoming server settings", after a few seconds it then told me "setup could not finish" and that it was "unable to open connection to server". I have no idea why this is, and I've been searching the internet since, but I am unable to find a solution. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it. I'm using the basic Email app that came with it, but I've heard things about downloading a different Email app. I also have a task killer installed but I have set-up it to ignore the Email app.
