Aug 15, 2010After the 2.2 update, I am unable to delete the Trash Bin in my Gmail. It was there before, but now the only options are Labels and To Inbox.

Now I manually installed the official update, but have that pesky Superuser app that wont go away. Jun 6, 2010I have a HTC EVO and I can't seem to clear my trash file from my phone. Once I delete a message from my phone it then goes to the trash. I try to delete that same message from the trash but it doesn't delete forever like it is suppose to. I have to either go on my PC to do it or use my internet browsers to delete forever.

Sep 20, 2010Ever since i rooted my DX (rooted and deodexed with revolution), i've been having this weird email problem. When i go to delete emails in my gmail inbox on my phone they delete off the phone, but not in my actual gmail inbox online. Because when i delete the emails off my phone the inbox counter still reads all those emails that are still there. Well when i go online to delete them it goes back to normal. How can i fix this to where i dont have to keep goin online to delete emails?

Jun 13, 2010i just got my droid back from being flashed to cricket and i gave the man who did it the wrong password for my gmail account. so he made me a new one. it wont let me delete it says because it has something to do with apps. im trying to setup my other account so i can get all my paid apps back. i dont mind having the new account but would like my other one for the apps.it wants me to do a reset to erase all user data but ill loose flash files if i do. any ideas?

May 14, 2010Why will the gmail app not empty the trash folder? If I delete an email on the phone and then switch to the trash folder my emails are there. I then select them all again to delete as you would expect. Yet each time I reload the trash folder all the deleted emails are still there. If I want to really delete them I have to go in to gmail with my pc.

We can't save pictures, can't batch delete, hell we can't even click most links! Maybe I'm venting a little, but It's kind of embarassing when your a company's web apps work better than their natively installed apps that come pre-installed on a phone whose OS you developed!

Aug 6, 2010I can open gmail and then it goes back to the home screen, when I delete an app I suddenly get a notification that an app has an update (EVERY TIME I delete an app). My weather widget was reading 32 degrees all day yesterday and I noticed that the settings were changed to celcius. What really sucks is I am in the middle of buying a house and I email back and forth with the lender on my phone. Oh and the battery never got any better I can barely get 4hrs out of it. I really like the phone and I hate to return the darn thing.

Oct 4, 2010When I check for a system update, it says that there is an update available (ver 2.3.15) and it allows me to download it. After it downloads successfully, it says it must restart the phone blah blah, and I say yes and it reboots. Once it loads back up, it says that the update install was unsuccessful.I have done this 4 times now, after the first two I even did a factory reset and then did a battery pull and still, same result. Dec 9, 2009I did the manual update to 2.0.1 this morning and just now realized that I wasn't getting any incoming email notifications for Gmail. I sent myself a test message from another account and it did not show up on my droid. i went into accounts and manually synced it and now all is well. So, if you notice this issue after the update, just manually sync your accounts and see if that solves it.
