I have my verizon e-mail sent to my droid and after I delete the message on my droid it goes into a trash bin. How do I delete the trash bin? Does not seem to be a quick way to do it unless I am missing something.

After the 2.2 update, I am unable to delete the Trash Bin in my Gmail. It was there before, but now the only options are Labels and To Inbox.

1. What exactly is "freezing" an app? Will it remove the app from the app drawer? Will it just prevent it from running?
2. Can I use Titanium backup to delete apps that are safe for delete like amazon.mp3, etc?
3. If I "freeze" an app like backup assistant will it still be on the phone so that it doesn't brick if I do a reset?
4. Can I delete or freeze things like crap ringtones so they don't show up when I am setting a ringtone?
When I delete emails for gmail on my phone, will they delete online also?

I managed to get it back but now it only displays the weather for one of the cities I added, Pasadena, CA, as opposed to displaying my current location. I've deleted the Pasadena location several times to no avail as it remains there.

Someone sent me an email on Facebook that also showed up in my Inbox for my Comcast email account and I cannot get rid of THAT email! I have gotten and deleted up to 200-300 emails since then from facebook and that stupid email remains in my inbox! When I try to click on and open the troubled email, my stock email on the phone force closes! I cleared the cache, thinking that was part of the problem and that did nothing for me. The email was a notification for an event. I was able to delete it on my facebook account and its not showing up anywhere else but on my phone's email account. Its kinda like it IS deleted but for some weird reason its still showing up.

When i tried this method and typed in su to start the process it would say "permission denied". Do i have to reroot my phone again in order to get rid of these two apps? I'm doing this in order to take my phone to verizon. Do you guys think its necessary to make it perfectly clean of any "rooted" things? Anyone using A Online Radio wondering how to delete stations from the favorites tab? There have been multiple posts about this on the developers site.I read their instructions multiple times on their forum post and after 2 days of thinking about it, I finally figured it out.They say that you're supposed to scroll through the list, and as you scroll, the entries will highlight. Then you can select delete from the menu you get from the droid's menu button.After many failed attemps at normal drag scrolling with my finger, I finally thought of trying to scroll with the direction pad on the hard keyboard.Open up to the keyboard and scroll down with that dpad, and items will highlight. You can then delete from the menu.Not hardly the best interface. check boxes and a select all would be much easier. But hey, at least now I can manage the favorites tab.

Yes, I could have renamed the misspelled group, but I was in an unusually stupid frame of mind.The group doesn't show in "Contacts" on the phone, but it does in Handcent and elsewhere.I know how to NOT screw up again, and that's to NOT use the "Contacts" app every again, but how do I truly delete the group that I already created?I went into Handcent and went to send a message to a group, and the deleted group appeared there. I also went to to the application that I downloaded called "Group Ringtones" and it appeared there as well. It doesn't appear in GMail though. I didn't expect it to appear in GMail, but it wouldn't have surprised me if it did.
