Aug 15, 2010After the 2.2 update, I am unable to delete the Trash Bin in my Gmail. It was there before, but now the only options are Labels and To Inbox.

Jun 6, 2010I have a HTC EVO and I can't seem to clear my trash file from my phone. Once I delete a message from my phone it then goes to the trash. I try to delete that same message from the trash but it doesn't delete forever like it is suppose to. I have to either go on my PC to do it or use my internet browsers to delete forever.

I just got my Sprint HTC Hero Android phone and I noticed that it comes preloaded with FACEBOOK. While I know that most people would consider that great, I don't. Do to my job, I am prohibited from using FACEBOOK or MYSPACE and therefore, would have absolutly no use for the application. May 14, 2010Why will the gmail app not empty the trash folder? If I delete an email on the phone and then switch to the trash folder my emails are there. I then select them all again to delete as you would expect. Yet each time I reload the trash folder all the deleted emails are still there. If I want to really delete them I have to go in to gmail with my pc.

2. Enable Swipe to xxxx
where in option 2 xxx changes depending on the value for option 1:
- if 1 = archive then xxx = archive
- if 1 = delete then xxx = delete
- if 1 = both then xxx = archive (!!!)

Aug 15, 2010I can't wait for M$ to pull the trigger on hotmail activesync. Currently I am using gmail. If I want to delete a message it sends the entire "conversation" to trash.
Is there a way to delete single messages in a conversation? Sometimes I just want to keep the original, most important email but don't need all the replies that go back and forth.
Currently I go into gmail web version to delete single messages in a thread but that's a PITA.
