I'm pretty sure this was not the case on my Blackberry. On My Samsung Epic, I have to save my Google voice messages before I can play them. No way to play them over the web without saving them? I'm on 2.1 with a recent Dolphin browser.

I love voice command that came with MS and I'm glad to finally get an epic.I figured out how to get my incoming caller id announced. How do i get my Txt messages read outloud?Is there anyway i can dedicate a button to use Voice command that way i don't have it navigate through the screen?

Unfortunately thats something that very important because she records her nursing lectures. Am I missing it, or is there not one there. Also, if it is missing one, is there one in the market that works well, and that will work on the Epic?

It seems like taking the photo via the facebook app does not save the photo to the sd card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Voice Recorder and it seems to work fine, expect for one thing, the voice quality when played back sucks! My old Samsung Sync was so much easier to understand, when playing back voice recorded messages. The Epic has a lot of hiss and scratchiness to it. I hope that's not what other people are hearing on the other end of our conversations. Anyone else have similar results using Voice Recorder, or comments from people their talking to? Could the lousy quality be because of the app, or the Epic's mic?

1 - My screen brightness seems to adjust up on its own... To increase battery life I have it set all the way down...but, for example, as I was typing this post the brightness increased on its own... Any ideas?
2 - My voice recognition stops working all the time...not with one app either... Resetting my profile seems to fix it for about 5 minutes but it doesn't take long for it to go TU again
I am using Captivate on the AT&T network and looking into goggle voice. Since the main feature I am interested in (for now) is the visual voice mail, I was thinking of getting the option without the GV number and therefore, keeping my cell phone number. I have several questions:
1. Does this work well with the Captivate phone?
2. Is there any delay in getting the voice mails by going through GV?
3. Does this eat into my data plan at all? Currently, I am only on the 200 mb plan per month.
4. If I try to get text messages through GV, would that not use up my data plan and instead come through my Internet connection ( which could at times be free if I am in a WiFi zone)?
My Epic came with GOOGLE NAV(not maps) installed, the little blue triangle. My friend would like to install it on his droid, but I'm not sure where I can get it.

I have five calendars on my Google Calendar : Personal, School, Finance, Work and Tasks. I am only getting Personal and Finance on my Epic for some reason. I am not sure why this occurred but I have not figured out a solution and its getting very frustrating since I bought an Android phone almost specifically for the easy google calendar integration. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had a Google Voice account for about 8 months. During that time I've used a G1, BB8700 and BH2 with the service. By far the BH2 is the worst. I get FC's all the time and the lag when making a call is absurd. I have to wait 10 - 30 seconds for the call to begin, then once the screen finally reflects that a call is being made it takes another 10-15 seconds for the call to begin ringing. In bound seems better, but it makes it hard to use efficiently. Also, I can't stand the fact that there isn't a "Use Google Voice" context menue when placing a call so that by default I use my regular phone number, but can easily switch to using my GV account when I want to. The BB app had this feature and it was awesome - it seems absurd to have to launch the GV app to make a call simply because I havent selected GV to be used for all calls. OK, rant over. Does anyone have a positive experience with GV? Am I just being unreasonable (wouldnt be the first time)

People I may have just emailed once or do not need them in my phone. Is there anyway to delete these contacts from here?

Anyway, I don't have a land line at home and I want to use my behold 2 as a house phone over WI-Fi. When I take the sim card out and try to make a call (Using goggle voice) it says not registered to the network. Using an unregistered Sim card sends the call to T-Mobile. How can I get it to use straight goggle voice?
