Samsung Captivate :: How To Sync Contacts Via ATT Online Address Book?
Sep 21, 2010so I've looked around but don't see any threads on this....but newho, onto the question. has anybody been able to sync their contacts via ATT online Address Book? I've seen like 5 completed syncs in the log, out of prolly 30 total attempts. Either way, i cant log in to check the contacts online. I get this:

Samsung Captivate : Doesn't Sync To Google Calendar Online
Nov 19, 2010My calendar syncs in only one direction: in other words if I enter an event on my PC in google calendar, it shows up on my phone...but if I enter the event on the phone first, it doesn't sync to my google calendar online..is that normal?

Nov 24, 2010So, I haven't been able to sync the AppBrain app up with the online website. I want to download all the apps that I've selected on the website.
I've done this already for about 70 apps.
I've already checked my connection with my gmail account, it's all good. I'm just going to go through and install them all manually, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

May 7, 2013I've checked my phone's sync settings, synced several times, logged in and out of Gmail online to see if anything has been updated. No such luck. Icon by phone numbers saved on phone is a cell phone, rather than the letter "G" which typically represents contacts pulled from Gmail online. I've had this issue - I believe - with my previous Samsung. Although I've seen this question brought up before, the answers are typically not device specific or have not been useful and clear to follow.
As a new user, I had difficulty negotiating this site and finding the best place to post this. There is not an LG Optimus L9 Forum so, if there is a location where this post might encourage more visibility.
Samsung Captivate : How To Get FB To Sync With Contacts?
Aug 15, 2010So it's my understanding that I'm supposed to be able to sync with Facebook and it will pull profile pics into my contacts as well as profile links. Is this correct? If so, I can't get it to work. I had installed the FB app and had the issue with it creating multiple profile links in contacts that would all take me to my page. After reading here I deleted it and just synced with SNS settings. Now I have nothing. No FB links, no pics, nothing. How can I get this to work?

All is good there.My problem is that the handsfree bluetooth system in my car will only sync contacts with the Captivate's built-in Phone address book (vs the "Corporate" address book in Contacts Display Options).Right now, I have been exporting Corporate Contacts to the SD card and then importing them from the SD card into the Phone contacts. This can be a chore when I have to add/modify/delete a contact in my Corporate contacts as I have to delete all the Phone contacts and then redo the export/import every time there is a change.Is there anyway to sync changes automatically between the Corporate address book and the Phone address book? Am I overlooking something really simple?

It is checked to sync and shows the sync (circle with arrows) symbol but it never syncs. In contrast, my GMAIL is having no problems syncing...only the calendar. He wants to sync his contacts and calendar.On my Droid, I go to accounts & sync > add account > Google > enter my address and password.i get offered to sync Calendar and/or Contacts, by clicking on the check box.On his Epic, he adds the account, but there are no options, no check boxes! General :: Contacts Sync Doesn't Save Number
Dec 7, 2012What exactly does joining contacts do?I have joined all my duplicates and contacts from different lists together so there's only one entry per person.If I go on them, they're all listed under my Google Account under my email address. however some of them I merged on my phone aren't merged on gmail contacts.
And I see all the names now of my list, but the numbers aren't saved.. just their name, sometimes their email address..I'm currently on an old T-Mobile G2 but getting N4 soon..
