Samsung Epic 4G :: How To Keep DRM Protected Content Storage Turned Off?

I did a test I saw on another forum about turning off the DRM Protected Content Storage (OmaDrmConfigService) to make the battery life longer, and it makes mine last tons longer. When this is on my battery will drain to 10-15% overnight, just sleeping. With this 1 thing off, my battery was at 77% when I got up this morning. WTFudge is this thing, and how do I make it stay off because it turns itself back on after I turn on the phone? How do I automatically turn off other running services I don't need running all of the time? Like eBay and Tango and Craigslist etc.?

My Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.

I have not installed anything, not even an OTA update (except PRL update) and this is what it says for SD card and Internal Storage space. It comes with 1GB internal storage, so the base OS and TouchWiz used over half of the internal storage already along with over 1GB of the sd card?
sd card total space: 14.73GB
sd card available space: 14.73GB
internal storage available space: 465MB

I don't want my memory to fill up with all the apps I download. Is there a way to have the apps download to the storage card? I'm assuming that the apps are whats taking up all of my RAM, right?

Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading and running apps from the market due to low memory issues? Why did they only put 512MB of internal memory for app storage on this Epic when the AT&T galaxy version got 8GB of internal memory in addition to the 16GB micro Sd card???
My memory is full now, and without android 2.2 I can't move apps to the SD card. They should have provided all of their galaxy class phones with the 8GB internal memory.

I have been having this problem since i updated to froyo JP2 package my external micro SD card when mounted to computer and i try to copy over the files it says it is write protected but there is no key to slide, as everybody knows micro sd cards donot have that feature by design. this is the best part when the same card no changes i put in to a cardreader hooked up to my laptop works perfectly fine. it was working fine before i flashed the JP2 firmware. what am i doing wrong i even formated the card in the phone itself but still no luck. My hunch is this when i flashed with new firmware i never took out the sd card and the sim card is that any reason, i know i can just flash it again but i already arranged everything nice on my galaxy so was wondering if it is then i will go ahead.

I just noticed while upgrading from the "pulled" 2.2 to the "official" 2.2 some of my purchased apps are no longer available from the market. Cannot be found at all. Someone said that Google has to approve every new ROM to get complete access to the market. I was just wondering if it is I who have the glitch or if anyone else has the same problems. I have heard from two other sources (in Sweden) who have the same issues.

This is my first post and it comes with some questions:
First and foremost at random times my 3G is turned off even though I haven't turned it off...go into the setting and it says its still on. Only way to turn it back on is to turn it off and then turn it back on? Any ideas just a problem with the phone maybe. Didn't know if anyone has encountered this problem
Second is there and application that I can use that will let me select what things will startup with a reset of the phone? Also is there an easy way to reset the phone without a battery pull? I just like to do this when Unistalling apps and installing apps...always seems faster after downloading or Unistalling after I do this.

I'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?

I owned a Moto W385 with USC, my wife also. For our birthdays we upgraded to Samsung Epic 4G. A phone that I actually have been waiting for ever since the IPhone came out because I knew the technology would be where I wanted it to be for the most part (speed, HD, capacity, upgrade ability/customization. I'm more getting more camera time in than making Epic 4G porn, but it is fun!

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

How you felt the NES/SNES/PSX emulators ran on each phone respectively? I am still torn after all the reading I have done. Quite frankly my biggest worry about the Epic at this point is the lack of support in the future, but it def has some features I do like.. (Mainly the GPU / Processing)

UPDATE: My goal is to get as many future Epic 4G buyers to respond to this thread as possible to show Samsung how excited we are for the Epic but also how upset we are about the lack of key features that are found in the family of Galaxy S devices but not on the Epic 4G.The only way Samsung will consider adding these into a future update (Hopefully the upcoming 2.2 update) is if they see how many people really do want them.So please help the cause and lets try to show Samsung how much these missing features really mean to the Epic 4G buyers!
