Aug 18, 2010Ok the Epic is getting headphones. But does the Epic have the puzzle lock screen? FM radio? And does the music player have that cd juke box feel?

Oct 21, 2010Sometimes when I shut the slider quickly the phone shuts down. Then today it did it when I set it down on a table, and when I turned it back on the battery went from 42 to 12 percent. I then reset the phone and it was at 24 percent. Is anyone else having this problem? Could the battery just be losing contact?

Sep 2, 2010But sometimes other small parts/and or button commands lock-up. For example; since I am new to Swype, I decided to take the tutorial and each time I would click (or even tried to slide) the next button, it wouldn't respond took about 5-7 tries.While on the phone with tech/and CS yesterday (for whole diff issue), I asked about the Capacitive Button Sensitivity - as mine wasn't working that well either (as others have mentioned). Tech had me remove the battery for 2 full minutes, and put back in - and now the Capacitive Buttons works perfectly.Anyone else having partial screen/certain buttons not responding to commands? I guess I could try removing the battery again, but I am not sure that will fix it.

Oct 14, 2010I had the weird issue of my screen staying on after texts, missed calls, etc.to the point that it would continue to drain the battery if I let it.The only way to remedy this was seemingly to activate the puzzle lock piece.On a missed text, call, etc., the screen would turn on to notify me with a visible puzzle lock screen, but then shut off after literally 1 second.Now I feel like I'm in a race against my own phone to detect a text and rip it out of my pocket to swipe the screen before it goes black and I have to hit the sleep/power button to turn it back on and swipe it that way.It's stupid.Yes, I want the screen to not be on all day, but damn.1 second? Is there any happy medium?

Sep 4, 2010It would be so nice to be able to lock the key board in place wouldn't it? I'm sure it could be done even if they just used some sort of pressure lock where you would have to push down slightly on the screen then slide it back. I can't imagine why they don't do this.

Sep 19, 2010I kept having problems accidentally backing out of the camera mode when taking pictures, then I discovered that if you hit the power button on the phone it will lock the camera "open" so that you can't accidentally hit another button while holding the phone to take a picture. Just hit the power button again to unlock it.

Sep 9, 2010Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

Sep 7, 2010I currently have an issue with the epic. its not the battery issue or gps but the keyboard input. Sometimes at sporadic times (not every time)when I type a random letter or character I have to press a button two times to replicate the character or space and I'm a fast keyboard typer and its been bothering me lately and I'm wondering if anyone else has those issues? I already have went to sprint and had them exchanged the phone and the new phone still to no avail does the same thing. I thought it was Advanced task killer that may have caused my phone to be acting weird but I hard reset the phone and still no avail. Maybe its just a bad keyboard? both times? the phone is an august build and battery is also an august build. I'm at work right now and plan to hit the sprint repair store near home. I just want to know if anyone else has this issue? So I dont want to look like an idiot to the tech.
