I did a reset on my BH II and now when I go to the market the Phonebook app by Voxmobili is not there. I have tried a number of different searches for it and it is just not coming up.

I think I deleted my android market when I click the icon message comes up and says app not installed on this phone. Do I need to do a reset or can I download it some where noticed it after I updated some of my apps.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy internal memory is almost full (no surprise) so I was hoping for a way to move my downloaded market apps to the SD card. I was told to try AppMonster, which has an option to Backup to SD. I do this and it says it's successful but my internal memory isn't going down. Does this just copy the files there as opposed to move them there? If so, is the another way/app to move the files?

I have no idea what the cause is and unfortunately i also don't have access to a device with 2.2. Maybe someone here can tell me what i'm doing wrong?...................

Is there a way to either group or create groups of them and then set one of those groups up as the contact default? I know some phonebook apps probably do this but are limited in their information. I am looking for the full contact info (with phone numbers) and then isolate those I use frequently into such a group.

I think I saw this happened to someone else here, but I can't find it.
My gmail app suddenly stopped working. i have background and auto sync on. contacts and calendar syncing without any issue. mail is the only problem. i uninstalled ADW launcher which i updated right before this problem and all related apps for that launcher from the phone. i rebooted the phone (several methods including holding down power and volume buttons down, power off and battery out) but the problem still persists. I am unable to see the gmail app in the android marketplace from my phone. Otherwise, i will uninstall the one in my phone and reinstall the same. Another crazy thing is..when i open manage applications under settings, i dont see gmail app there. i have to app on my tray but not found in the applications list.what is going on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed Froyo in Kies. Everything went smoothly and the phone seems to work like a charm after installation. The only thing weird but not bad was that all the applications were in different order. BUT the first bad thing I noticed was that the Android Market application was gone! Is this normal? Can I get it back somehow?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have only had my phone for a few days and i'm starting to have some problems with downloading apps. At first I had no problems I downloaded 8 or 9 of them and they installed fine. Then I was not able to download anymore. Each one I tried to download said "download failed and did not install. When I looked at my status bar it showed 10 or 12 apps that did not download. So I did a factory reset and cleared everything out and started again. The same thing happens I get 5 or 6 and then the rest give my error saying not downloaded and not installed. So again I did a factory reset and tried again and came across the same prob. I got a few and then no more. I do not have a data plan yet. So I'm just using the wifi in my house. The ones that did not download i left them over night thinking they might get done by morning but no luck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've scoured Google and people are reporting similar problems but the solution suggested is not working for me. Anywho..I'm trying to get either Open Home or GDE. The problem of course, is that the app isn't on the Market. All there are are themes. I searched for "Open Home Full" and nothing. One of the suggestions online was to download "Barcode Reader" and use that while on a computer to scan the barcode on GDE's website. Of course, there is no "Barcode Reader" when I search the Market.
Why is this so difficult? What am I doing wrong? I remember when I had my G1, I was very easily able to install aHome a while back. I can't find ANY of these now!
I just noticed while upgrading from the "pulled" 2.2 to the "official" 2.2 some of my purchased apps are no longer available from the market. Cannot be found at all. Someone said that Google has to approve every new ROM to get complete access to the market. I was just wondering if it is I who have the glitch or if anyone else has the same problems. I have heard from two other sources (in Sweden) who have the same issues.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm new to this, but when I look in Market I sometimes can't find certain apps. Was just looking for Where (where.com) a good travel app and it's not in there. Also when I install Yelp, it installs but immediately closes when I try to launch.
Is this a canada thing or what? Is the firmware so old that these phones are useless?
Updated to Android 2.1 today and none of my apps are listed in the market that I purchased. Yes I used the same email address. Frustrating part is MyBackup Pro was one of them! So I can't restore all my data either. Anyone have any ideas?

The one I know for sure is the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app. AppBrain still lists it (in fact, it shows that it got a price drop about 10 hours ago), but scanning the QR code, searching for it in the Android Market, even trying to install it from AppBrain all lead to the same thing: The item could not be found. I don't know if this is happening with other apps or not. I do know for sure that the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app was there before the update as I was trying to decide whether I was justified in spending the money to listen to the playoff games at work. But now it's just gone without a trace.Anyone else notice this or other apps missing?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi recently edited the advanced launcher apk to theme the app drawer and a few other small things. the edits worked prefectly and i'm loving the new look except for one thing...the scrollbar in the app drawer! it is grey (of course) and i would like to change it to blue. i have looked and looked and can't find the file to change. is it even in the apk or does advanced laucher get the scrollbar from framework-res.apk?

I'm curious if it works because it synced so well to my work email, while the Galaxy stock email does not. I'm willing to try it out if anyone has the apk. I forgot to grab it before I flashed the rom and I don't want to have to re-flash to TouchWiz, grab it, and re-flash back to 1.6, especially if doesn't even work.
Also, if anyone's interested, here's a link to an Exchange email app that I got to work on the 1.6 rom, but it's not as feature rich. Exchange ActiveSync on your G1! | Nexeo.net. Pre-apologies if anyone has a problem with providing a system apk. But I did pay like $250 for this phone. Please just PM me then.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOkay a weird this has been happening on my Behold II... After a power cycle one program disappears from the application drawer. The programs that have disappeared are Handcent, dolphin browser, Facebook, Live Bible, Evernote. Others could have but I have not noticed. When I go into "My downloads" in the market the program is still there but when I try to open it it fails to open. I have to uninstall then re-install the program. I only lose one program at a time though? This was happening last week so I did a factory reset and everything was fine until this morning. I have been running GDE home so the next step will be to remove GDE and see if it continues to happen. There have been a few other things happening as well the day after I reset the phone it would not boot up it just got stuck at the "android" screen I had to go into the recovery console and wipe it again to get it to boot up, also twice yesterday the phone just started vibrating continuously the screen would not turn so I had to remove the battery and restart the phone. I do not have the phone rooted.
