I think I deleted my android market when I click the icon message comes up and says app not installed on this phone. Do I need to do a reset or can I download it some where noticed it after I updated some of my apps.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy internal memory is almost full (no surprise) so I was hoping for a way to move my downloaded market apps to the SD card. I was told to try AppMonster, which has an option to Backup to SD. I do this and it says it's successful but my internal memory isn't going down. Does this just copy the files there as opposed to move them there? If so, is the another way/app to move the files?

Okay, so I've searched and found nothing similar to this - my phone deleted all the pictures that I've taken, every single one. From the SD card. I haven't done anything unusual, although the phone did a spontaneous reboot this morning. All the rest of my files seem to be there, including some desktop background images that showed up in the photo gallery - it just deleted the photos that I've taken. It's not rooted or anything, just running stock with the OTA update. WTF is that all about? I am beyond fed up with this kind of garbage.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI flashed my Samsung Moment (2.1) with Dream 3.0...everything is perfect but I went ahead and deleted google talk since I never intend on using it.
Well, apparently that causes one to not be able to download from the market. I can't even download Google Talk now to fix it. It keeps crashing when I try to download anything. I have Root Explorer and Astro but I don't think I backed up the Talk app. Am I screwed or is there some way to make this better?
I'm running Bearsfan85's Take 5 Rom, and in the process of trying to empty my Delvik cache, I somehow deleted my applications, including my "Market" app, which makes it hard to get any of my other apps back!
I think I saw this happened to someone else here, but I can't find it.
Today the rom bug bit me and I tried about 3 or 4 different roms (after TIbackup and nand backup of course) including xtrROM and ELB, hated them all, and decided to go back to my beloved sense-able 3.1 nand backup.
wiped, restored, and now all my market links are gone. (except for gmaps, for some reason). TIbackup refuses to even install again from the market because the package signature is incorrect, or something. TIb said it was supposed to restore market links.any suggestions? is there even any way to restore a market link besides just reinstalling the program outright? I found this thread http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-hero/81290-market-does-not-see-all-my-downloads-after-nandroid-restore.html as reference. All my programs will show as "installed" if I search them in market.either way, sense-able was definitely the sexiest-out of the box ROM I tried. everything else without sense was just ugh, looked like I'd loaded up a G1. couldn't tell a speed difference at all with the same setCPU profile, and xtrROM was so bad on battery I only made it through few hours before uninstalling. I cannot live with the sense keyboard and search-dialer.
I have only had my phone for a few days and i'm starting to have some problems with downloading apps. At first I had no problems I downloaded 8 or 9 of them and they installed fine. Then I was not able to download anymore. Each one I tried to download said "download failed and did not install. When I looked at my status bar it showed 10 or 12 apps that did not download. So I did a factory reset and cleared everything out and started again. The same thing happens I get 5 or 6 and then the rest give my error saying not downloaded and not installed. So again I did a factory reset and tried again and came across the same prob. I got a few and then no more. I do not have a data plan yet. So I'm just using the wifi in my house. The ones that did not download i left them over night thinking they might get done by morning but no luck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've scoured Google and people are reporting similar problems but the solution suggested is not working for me. Anywho..I'm trying to get either Open Home or GDE. The problem of course, is that the app isn't on the Market. All there are are themes. I searched for "Open Home Full" and nothing. One of the suggestions online was to download "Barcode Reader" and use that while on a computer to scan the barcode on GDE's website. Of course, there is no "Barcode Reader" when I search the Market.
Why is this so difficult? What am I doing wrong? I remember when I had my G1, I was very easily able to install aHome a while back. I can't find ANY of these now!
I was trying to root my samsng behold 2 earlier today using the command codes on theunlockr.com. I thought everything was going well as I went all the way to the last step where it rebooted my behold 2. Problem is, the phone kinda just turned off after doing the reboot command and didn't turn back on by itself (I gave it like 10 minutes). I eventually then just turned on the phone manually and noticed that everything was super laggy. Even when I used taskkiller to kill every task minus GDE, it said I only had 38MB ram available. I rebooted my phone a few times and it was laggy everytime so I decided to do a hard reset. The problem is that when I attempted the hard-reset, it will now get stuck on the samsung screen when trying to load up (stayed there for over 30 minutes). I can still enter the phone if I just start it up regularly without trying to hard-reset, but it will continue to be VERY laggy.
Is there anything I can do to restore this phone back to its original state? I was reading about using ODIN to flash it or something, but for some reason my computer doesn't detect my phone when I go into Download mode on startup (it does however detect the usb drivers on my phone once the phone officially startsup into its homepage).
Is there a way to restore deleted files from the SD card using the phone only? or do i have to download a file recovery program to a pc?

So i created a google account in phone and added it in order to sync contacts....and after 2 hours, I thought that it has been synced...After upgrading device to ICS, and adding the previous account that i made before upgrading, I was waiting for contacts to restore, but nothing happend.. I opened the gmail account on PC and saw that there was no contacts. So the only way for me to restore the contacts is to find a way to restore them from Phone device. So,is there any software, either on phone or PC, to restore contacts from phone? or is there a way to have access to root folders and files of phone on PC to use a recovery program to restore "Contacts.db" file that was erased while flashing ICS?

Initially, using WiFi, my son logged on to his Gmail account but then I cleared his login within Application settings. Now, I try to login to my Gmail account or Antroid Market but it doesn't work.I keep getting "Cannot establish a reliable connection with server.This could be a temporaty problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data service,. View 12 Replies View RelatedI own the g2 vs980. I am running malladus. I had a nandroid backup of cleanrom. In an effort to free up space late last night I opened cwm app and deleted my backup if clean rom. I would like to recover it. I know of tools like diskdigger apk, but I don't know if it will recognize the format since (I believe) inside the backup file folder there are many files that comprise the nandroid backup. I did not do any factory resets since the delete. I know the files should still be there. I have done very little on the phone so the data should still be intact... for now. Xoom WiFi

I restored my Nexus 7 and re-synced it with my Google account. But somehow all the bookmarks in the desktop Chrome have disappeared. But the weird thing is the folders still remain. And on my tablet all the bookmarks that are now missing are in the mobile bookmarks section (not in any folder though, all just plopped in there).
How can I revert them all back to there folders?
i recently edited the advanced launcher apk to theme the app drawer and a few other small things. the edits worked prefectly and i'm loving the new look except for one thing...the scrollbar in the app drawer! it is grey (of course) and i would like to change it to blue. i have looked and looked and can't find the file to change. is it even in the apk or does advanced laucher get the scrollbar from framework-res.apk?

I'm curious if it works because it synced so well to my work email, while the Galaxy stock email does not. I'm willing to try it out if anyone has the apk. I forgot to grab it before I flashed the rom and I don't want to have to re-flash to TouchWiz, grab it, and re-flash back to 1.6, especially if doesn't even work.
Also, if anyone's interested, here's a link to an Exchange email app that I got to work on the 1.6 rom, but it's not as feature rich. Exchange ActiveSync on your G1! | Nexeo.net. Pre-apologies if anyone has a problem with providing a system apk. But I did pay like $250 for this phone. Please just PM me then.
Brand new droid and incredible owner switching from a blackberry. I was playing around today with my new phone and I accidentally deleted the "favorites" widget. How do I restore the "favorite" widget to my homescreen? I want it to take up the whole screen not just the small shortcut.
