My internal memory is almost full (no surprise) so I was hoping for a way to move my downloaded market apps to the SD card. I was told to try AppMonster, which has an option to Backup to SD. I do this and it says it's successful but my internal memory isn't going down. Does this just copy the files there as opposed to move them there? If so, is the another way/app to move the files?

I download a video off of Myxer. It didn't have any sound so I want to delete it. I can't find it ANYWHERE in the files folder of the memory card. And I don't know how to switch it over so I can look in the phone's memory. So my question is where are things I downloaded stored on the phone or memory card? I looked everywhere and can't find it!

I have been trying to put it back on and all I ended up doing was bending it.I got my hands on an HTC Leo Windows mobile 6.5. Best implementation of an SD card slot ever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Open Home with the DarkHero skin. In doing so, it made my wallpaper resolution 960x854. So rather than each window having a separate wallpaper, it is now one big one, just like the Moto Droid. Which is awesome in my opinion. The problem is setting new wallpapers. Is there a way to manually save downloaded wallpapers to the stock Wallpaper Gallery, rather than the Photo gallery where all of my camera photos are stored? I only ask because it keeps asking me to crop these 960x854 photos and select which window I'd like to change, when I don't want to do any cropping.

Also, when I'm in "bulk storage" mode when plugged into my PC via the USB, I assume the window that pops up is the SD card as opposed to the phone memory?? View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running Bearsfan85's Take 5 Rom, and in the process of trying to empty my Delvik cache, I somehow deleted my applications, including my "Market" app, which makes it hard to get any of my other apps back!
I think I saw this happened to someone else here, but I can't find it.
I have only had my phone for a few days and i'm starting to have some problems with downloading apps. At first I had no problems I downloaded 8 or 9 of them and they installed fine. Then I was not able to download anymore. Each one I tried to download said "download failed and did not install. When I looked at my status bar it showed 10 or 12 apps that did not download. So I did a factory reset and cleared everything out and started again. The same thing happens I get 5 or 6 and then the rest give my error saying not downloaded and not installed. So again I did a factory reset and tried again and came across the same prob. I got a few and then no more. I do not have a data plan yet. So I'm just using the wifi in my house. The ones that did not download i left them over night thinking they might get done by morning but no luck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've scoured Google and people are reporting similar problems but the solution suggested is not working for me. Anywho..I'm trying to get either Open Home or GDE. The problem of course, is that the app isn't on the Market. All there are are themes. I searched for "Open Home Full" and nothing. One of the suggestions online was to download "Barcode Reader" and use that while on a computer to scan the barcode on GDE's website. Of course, there is no "Barcode Reader" when I search the Market.
Why is this so difficult? What am I doing wrong? I remember when I had my G1, I was very easily able to install aHome a while back. I can't find ANY of these now!
Downloaded compass application and didn't find it to be very accurate. Used it next to a real compass and an Iphone with its compass....Iphone matched the real compass...this one was way off. Anyone have better luck, or did they get the compass chip from the same guy they got the crappy GPS chip from.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHad a behold II about two weeks and love the phone only one problem, every so often it gives me a notification (makes same noise as a text) saying preparing external SD card. The phone isn't plugged into anything and has no other problems it used to only happen a couple times a day now it is happening every 3-4 minutes and is getting pretty annoying. I looked through the options and can't find a way to make it stop giving me the notification noise for this. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make this stop its getting aggravating.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI figured I would throw my 2 cents in on my battery performance. I was mildly disappointed after the first week of use with my phone. It was without a doubt worse than my old iPhone 3g. I expected this due to larger screen, running widgets, ect. so I am not complaining. However, a couple days ago I downloaded the Set CPU app from the marketplace and set it to minimum every time the screen turns off. The difference is amazing, I have not charged since 7:30am yesterday and just now at 340 I plugged it in, it was around 5% left.
I really wanted to push it and see how much more I could get but I don't want it to die on me tonight, im going to a baseball game so I don't want to be stuck without it.As far as usage, I spent about 45 talking over bluetooth, I have sent about 15 texts and received about the same. I checked Twitter a few times, for a few mins each time. Spent about an hour browsing web, and downloaded a couple apps from the market. Before this I was charging my phone after an 8 hour day at work and had almost no juice left. YMMV but for me this has been well worth the 2 bucks.
I have switched to VERIZON and got the Droid Incredible (And it really is). Anyway, I don't have a land line at home and I want to use my behold 2 as a house phone over WI-Fi. When I take the sim card out and try to make a call (Using goggle voice) it says not registered to the network. Using an unregistered Sim card sends the call to T-Mobile. How can I get it to use straight goggle voice?

Well I'm having the same problem with my new B2...The phone is disconnecting and connecting on its own consistantly. And it keeps sending me notifications. I've tried 3 different SD cards all with the same result. Eventually it will erase all card data and tell me the card is damaged. Anyone else with this problem? Should I go with the G1 or Mytouch?

My BH2 is stock not hacked or anything and the first time I had it, I used the USB cable to transfer songs onto my SD card. Now when I tried it again, I connected the USB and it's in charging mode and I went into the notification menu to mount the SD card, it says preparing external SD card but then it stops and does not connect to my PC. Also the PC cannot detect any device connected to it.

Initially, using WiFi, my son logged on to his Gmail account but then I cleared his login within Application settings. Now, I try to login to my Gmail account or Antroid Market but it doesn't work.I keep getting "Cannot establish a reliable connection with server.This could be a temporaty problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data service,. Now what? i cant install terminal emulator either. i want to do it this way so i do not use up the space on the fone.For some reason i think it will start going slow again if i dont. any advice on what your setups are? what have you safely removed? is it ok to remove MyFavs? how about the cube? is there anything todo to speed it up a lil? or make it so it doesnt slow down at all?

I'm trying to copy Arabic fonts from the memory card into the phone but am running into a problem after running adb shell. The device is recognized by the pc and lists it as "sgh-t939". But the second command I think it wants to remount the memory card [ remount rw ] and I'm encountering a problem -- displays "remount: not found" I am simply following directions for adding the same fonts from a rooted galaxy. I have highlited where I'm stuck in red.
