I use sycmypics for LPP People widget. Everytime I sync smp saves the photos to my "All Photos" file in the gallery - 368 photos at present, many duplicates.
1. Can this be stopped?
2. Is there an easy way to select multiple photos and delete en mass? Deleting several photos from the Gallery takes forever - you get returned to the top of the list after every deletion.

At one time I figured out how to do this, and successfully downloaded some lovely images from the browser on my X that I use as wallpaper. But I am having a senior moment and can't for the life of me make it work again!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI noticed a lot of the pics that get uploaded are images of webpages I looked at on my phone.I never long pressed and saved them. Some are of the whole webpage, and sometimes there might be a couple more of the same webpage but zoomed in closer and closer. It's so weird. When I look in my photo albums on the phone, it doesn't show these images. Every time I am finished uploading pics I have to go through and delete a ton of them cause they're random images.How do I stop my phone from saving images like this?

The only problem I can't workout or find a solution from searching the threads is how to copy pictures/images from the web (on my desire) to use as, say, a wallpaper.
For instance I have pics on Picasa web albums, which I want on my phone.
How would i go about saving images off of google or any other website?
There are.images. i would like to use for a wallpaper.
My phone is not rooted and I want to figure out where snapchats are saved so I can open them again, Ive looked for the "received_image_snaps" and it doesnt exist. There is only a "my media" folder. Ive tried snap grapple as well and that didnt work. How to save them a different way?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I add an event and hit the save button, I see it till I close out of the calendar then try and get back to it. Then it's gone. I've tried to add the event via the stock app, LPP Calendar, and CalWidget...all with the same results, I can add, but try to get back to it or refresh the widget and it's gone. What the heck am I doing wrong? When I add an event from my desktop via gmail, it does save and is viewable on the X...why wont the ones added with phone save to either the phone or gmail?

The catch is that they would have to stay there, not have to be reloaded (as if you were accessing the mailbox from the website on your computer) and wouldn't get pushed down the line and out of sight from your designated number of emails displayed at once in the list?

Of course the touch had itunes which was great, the only thing it lacked was being able to save your favorites without downloading them. I looked around on the net and found a tip that said to turn off the Background Data option, so I did that, but I find this to be a very convenient feature. Then I started to play with the camera taking pictures...I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to change the "save location" on the phone for when it takes the photos. I don't know whether the photos are being saved to the SD Card (like I WANT), or to the internal memory (which I don't!).
So I take a picture with my Droid X, and it doesn't save at all.It seems to be tied to the GPS, because if I wait for the GPS to tag the photo, then it SEEMS to work MOST of the time. Thing is, I can't wait for the GPS all of the time, I just want a point and click cam. I have tried disabling the GPS and it doesn't seem to work until I reboot the phone. Anyone else having this issue, any suggestions?

View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I type in a number and then go to 'Add To Contacts' my phone NEVER saves the number. if that person calls me the correct info will show up but for me to call them is impossible... because they are not on my list. I have searched everywhere for a fix for this. All the correct display option are checked (for gmail i have EVERYTHING checked now)
