I cant figure out how to save a pic that is sent to me via text. I can click the pic, and it opens full screen, but I cant find a way to save the object or save the pic or file or anything... Is this no longer an option with the Droid X??

So I take a picture with my Droid X, and it doesn't save at all.It seems to be tied to the GPS, because if I wait for the GPS to tag the photo, then it SEEMS to work MOST of the time. Thing is, I can't wait for the GPS all of the time, I just want a point and click cam. I have tried disabling the GPS and it doesn't seem to work until I reboot the phone. Anyone else having this issue, any suggestions?

I can't find a way to save the picture to the Droid, and connecting the phone to my PC and browsing the contents of the Droid doesn't reveal the picture anywhere

View 17 Replies View RelatedI noticed a lot of the pics that get uploaded are images of webpages I looked at on my phone.I never long pressed and saved them. Some are of the whole webpage, and sometimes there might be a couple more of the same webpage but zoomed in closer and closer. It's so weird. When I look in my photo albums on the phone, it doesn't show these images. Every time I am finished uploading pics I have to go through and delete a ton of them cause they're random images.How do I stop my phone from saving images like this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my x a few days ago and have never had a smartphone (i'm coming from the Dare)...i was trying to send a picture in a text message today, and it sent it horizontal... i took the picture vertically...and when i attached it to my text message it sent it sideways. so i rotated the picture 90 degrees and sent it, and it was still sideways.... anyone know how to fix this? i take most of my pics vertically...and i don't want them posting to facebook or sent to my fam sideways!

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I save photos from text messages, the phone defaults to saving the pic under the same name for every photo "imagejpeg_2.jpg" I have tried a variety of things to prevent this. The phone will not let me alter the name before saving. I also removed the "Download" folder completely off my phone which contained any saved photos, thinking when I saved another pic it would default to the first photo "imagejpeg_1.jpg" and go in sequence from there.
I'm trying to prevent having to do a hard reset or using other apps for messaging.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI dnt know if this was mentioned but u can save pix from default txts app. You have to watch where u place ur finger. Don't press and hold on the picture attachment, press and hold on the whole message. You will see that the message and the attachment will highlight green and a screen will pop up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can not send pictures via text message with the stock message app, Handcent, or Chomp. I had been using Handcent for the past 2 1/2 months or so just fine, it would send pics. Then all of a sudden about a week ago it just stopped. It just kept showing the turning green circle over and over until the sending failed. I updated it, I uninstalled it, I reinstalled it. I tried Chomp. I tried the stock app. None of them will send a pic to another phone or to an email. I can send pics to facebook with the facebook app. The stock email app will send an email with a pic attached however.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both got Milestones about a month ago. So far so good; we're trying to keep up with the kids on technology. Anyways, we discovered we're unable to receive texts with pics, but are able to send them to iphones users (who can receive them). I asked about it at the Telus store, thinking it was a setting or something, and she said "smart phones can't receive pics by text, you have to email them". Doesn't really sound right... The choice to send a pic by text is an option in the menus, and it seems from reading the forums here that at least in the US, it's possible with the droid. So is this a Telus issue? No big deal, we're just wondering what's up. Even our daughter with a non-smart phone can send/receive pics by text.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I add an event and hit the save button, I see it till I close out of the calendar then try and get back to it. Then it's gone. I've tried to add the event via the stock app, LPP Calendar, and CalWidget...all with the same results, I can add, but try to get back to it or refresh the widget and it's gone. What the heck am I doing wrong? When I add an event from my desktop via gmail, it does save and is viewable on the X...why wont the ones added with phone save to either the phone or gmail?

1. Can this be stopped?
2. Is there an easy way to select multiple photos and delete en mass? Deleting several photos from the Gallery takes forever - you get returned to the top of the list after every deletion.
