Is there any way in Locale to turn off the notification LED? I can't stand the blinking pink notification LED telling me I have email at 3 in the morning. I just don't see an option in Locale to turn this off.

View 41 Replies View RelatedHas anybody else ever been in an SMS (Google Voice), email, or IM conversation with somebody, with your phone continually beeping every 30 seconds when you get a new message? This happens to me a lot. The phone is sitting next to me on my desk, and each time it beeps, I pick it up, push the power button, swipe to unlock, swipe down the notifications bar, and then look to see what's new. After doing this about 30 times in an hour, I have to ask myself, is this really necessary on a modern smartphone? The dumbest dumbphone I know will light up when you get a new text. Now, I have searched high and low, and am I just stupid, or is there no setting or app available to turn the screen on for like 5 seconds and display new notifications as soon as they come in?

Also is anybody else having problems with landscape mode? When i first got the phone it would go into landscape mode without the keyboard, but now it wont. I was wondering is the next software update going to fix it and if when?
when the battery is at or below 10% this red light comes on for the notification. is there any way to make it stop? can't find it anywhere

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was using Locale for the past few days and it was working fine. I added defaults to it so I can have the ringer at high volume when I'm not at work. Well, once I added the defaults, it no longer uses my "Work" profile. I know it's not a GPS issue, because I have it set based on time. I've checked and double checked the settings, and I cannot figure out why it is keeping me in default mode while I'm right in the middle of my work schedule. Anybody else have this problem?

As I had to replace the phone (bad headphone jack) i seem to have lost all the old downloads i had previously. None of them auto restored.

I've installed handcent on my HTC Eris and when I get a new message I get a notification from both Handcent and the default app. I only want notifications from handcent. How do I turn off notifications from one and not the other? This happens with my email as well.

However, when I receive a notification while I'm doing something else, or heck even if I receive it while just looking at my phone, I want to be able to hit a button and make the noise stop! I cannot find a setting to disable this! I get emails in the middle of the night and the phone keeps notifying me every 5 minutes or so until i clear it. I am using the "Mail" app that came with the phone and it is a regular email account, nothing special.

Another question. Has anyone randomly seen their lock screen and alarm notification disappear?
It seems to happen when I get new notifications. I can see it happen maybe 50% of the time when i get a text, but have seen it other times just disappear when going into email or something. I can always get it back just by opening the alarm program i'm using.
I have seen this happen with the stock moment alarm and gentle alarm. Klaxon will disappear for a moment and re-appear at times when others would have probably disappeared.
For txt i'm using the application the moment came with. using gmail and moxier. not too much notification add-ons minus that except craigsnotifica.
any thoughts? i talked with the developer for gentle alarm and he couldn't reproduce it...
I'm using handcent for messages and dont know how to stop the stock messages from notification when i get new text. so i get double notifications one from handcent then one from stock.

It had been working beautifully for awhile on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, but now it has stopped working on both I've got syncing checked on both devices under accounts, so I dunno WTF is wrong. Since I use G+ on the desktop most of the time, it's extremely annoying to have to clear notifications on three different devices (PC, phone, and tablet).
