I guess what I'm asking is if there's a way to "clone" your Droid, not just the SD card.
I have been using the HTC Sync with mixed results. Is there anything out there that will let me sync at least the calendar and contacts both ways via USB that does not involve using gmail? There are so many out there it seems but I don't have a clue which are any good. I don't mind paying for a quality product if it exists.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm sure this subject has been beat to death, but I was bored earlier this evening and decided to do some experimentation. I was interested in finding a good program with which to sync play lists, music, pictures, movies, etc. As it turns out, Media GO works really well. I have been using it as my default music player for some time now because of the "Sense Me" play list option. I'm still pretty new here and I hadn't seen anything posted regarding this program and it's INC compatibility.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOut of all the things I expected the Droid to do, I never expected the Droid to not utilize this feature. I'm talking about when your playing music and you put the phone in your pocket and press down on the volume controls to change the song. The BlackBerrys have this and I don't understand why the Droid doesn't. It's so annoying taking it out of the pocket, going through the home screen just to change a song.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe Google Voice search is really helpful and thus far, I've had success getting Google search results, as well as using it to call contacts, handsfree.
I was wondering if its possible to use it to play music hands free. I see that there is an option for it under searchable items by going to Menu>Search>Searchable Items>Music, but I haven't been able to get any results by saying things like "play artist Radiohead" or just saying "Radiohead". It just brings up web search results.
Anyone know of a way to immediately prompt your music by using Voice Search?
my droid keeps randomly playing a song. i never even heard the song idk why it would be playing or anything. i cant seem to find out why it is playing or what program is playing it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedUsed MML to sync my Itunes to the droid. was relatively easy. it didn't like purchased songs so i just deleted them from MML. Then in the all song list it randomly doubled up songs. But the worst thing it did was there a quite a few songs where it mixed up the song title with a different song.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having with Pandora not loading at all or taking minuets to get a song to play? If so what was the solution to repair it.
View 16 Replies View RelatedOkay, I know 5000 songs is a lot. It's not as much as the song count for anyone I know, but it's a lot nonetheless. However, it's still less than an iPod from 5 years ago could handle, so why is it too much for the Droid? Every time I try "syncing" my library (read: Copying over the music folder, because the Droid doesn't have a syncing app and DoubleTwist is outright broken in its sync method) I end up missing like half of it. Usually it takes me a smidgen of time to realize an album is missing, but immediately afterwards I notice a LOT of albums are missing.
I try renaming the artist name folder, and the Droid them makes some attempt to locate the new music. First it gives me the spinning "loading" icon in the upper-right of my albums list view, and then it "resets" the view to the main four icons (Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists). However, it still doesn't load the new material. I'm assuming at this point that the Droid has an outright song limit that hovers around 3,000. Either that or the "compilations" folder is killing its library search function.
Anyone know if this got fixed in 2.1? At least then I'd have something to look forward to. An alternate music player with cover art support would be fine, too. I don't mind paying extra if it's well-made.
Randomly stopping mid-track on HE-AAC files is also incredibly annoying.
There have been multiple threads of people saying they are experiencing sound popping when using the 3.5mm jack, most of them say its on Pandora others will say that it happens on all mp3's or a few mp3's that otherwise sound perfect when played on their computer. To test I want to see if its a defect in hardware or if it just another Droid Does problem. I always consistently experience sound popping with my Sony headphones while playing Home by Michael Buble. If you go to youtube and search "home buble" play the first search result in high quality and turn the media volume to maximum. Listen in about 45 seconds and let me know if you hear popping.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?
