Feb 9, 2010So I have the sholes uploader. I was on 2.0.2 but decided to go to 2.0.3.I forgot to uncheck email now Ive deleted it. Is there a way to get it back?

HTC Incredible :: Accidentally Deleted Stock FB Sync?
Nov 12, 2010I spent some time cleaning off stock HTC apps (Facebook.apk, HTC Facebook and Friend Stream included), but now all my contacts under People are no longer linked to any Facebook accounts. If I go to the Global tab, there is no option to refresh Facebook friends list. I've tried re-installing Facebook for Android, and I've also tried downloading the Facebook.apk and adding it back into /system/app. Really, all I want ot do is sync Facebook with my phone contacts to pull in pics and birthdays, I don't care about Friend Stream or HTC's stock FB app. Anyone know what to do?

Dec 5, 2013ive just got an HTC one and somehow managed to accidentally delete the app for Photos, so now I have no app to get to my photos quickly which I would like to have on the home screen of my phone so I have quick access to my camera and photos, instead of having to go through the camera app or gallery app to get to my photos, how do i get this app back?

Nov 4, 2010Since the gmail app is facing sync issues, I have decided to switch to the stock email app that droid X has. The only problem with it is that it doesn't combine the similar conversations like gmail does, so if you have 8 emails exchanged with someone, it will show as 8 different messages rather than just one which is the case with gmail. Does anyone know how to fix this? I checked the settings but couldn't find anything.

Oct 27, 2010I had my phone rooted just running stock 2.2, last night an OTA came to my phone while I was at work, and my brother (doesn't know anything about root) accepted the update. Now whenever I try to do something in Rom Manager I get an error message :"an error occurred while attempting to run privalaged commands." Set CPU does not work, and Super User is still in my app drawer.
Does anyone know whats going on, it appears my phone is no longer rooted, but I still have SU in my app drawer, how can I fix this? Is there a way to completely unroot my phone? or revert back to where I was before the OTA? Everytime I try to load Rom Manager and restore my phone it gets stuck with a picture of a phone and a "!" mark.
HTC Droid Eris :: Way To Clear Sent / Deleted From Exchange Email?
Feb 26, 2010Did a search but couldn't find anything on this. I don't have a single song on my Eris. And probably only about 20 pics. Very vew apps. Which tells me this is all based on my email file. I sync'd up both the Sent Items and the Deleted Items about a week ago and I'm betting that stuff has filled up my card. If there a way to clear those two buckets? I really don't need Deleted and Sent on my phone. Didn't realize it would take so much room on the card. Anybody have any ideas?

Sep 10, 2010Formatted my SD card yesterday and was cleaning up the internal memory of music as well since I was having issues with duplicate playlists etc. Just recieved a call today and noticed it wasn't my normal ringtone. I go to contacts(any of them) and see there is only one option for a ringtone. So unless there is a virus on my phone, I've accidently deleted my stock ringtones. Anyway to get the rintone folder back on the phone short of doing a complete reinstall of the OS? Take it back. My ringtones are still on the phone on the internal memory. I can play them fine in Mixzing/stock player, but are not showing up when I click on contacts/ringtone etc..

Your phone has an internal cache where it stores this information. Sometimes this cache gets out of sync. You can delete this cache by looking for an application called "Media Store" (or similar) in "Settings->Applications->Manage Applications". You may have to press the menu button and change the filter to show all applications. Once you find "Media Store", open its options page and select "Clear Data". Then reboot the phone to force the cache to be rebuilt. Also, try searching your storage for *.m3u files, delete any of these files that are not in the "syncr" directory.
Android :: Deleted Email Still On Isp's Server
Mar 30, 2010I have the LG Eve and i was wondering a couple of things about email. When I delete emails from my inbox they go strait to the trash folder, fine so far. But later on in the day they will reapear. I understand thats because they are still on my isp's server, so i guess they will keep on loading untill i delete them at home? how can i select all of the items in trash at once to delete them faster.

The phones are set up identically.Her deleted email returns the next day after it has been deleted off the phone and off her computer.My email remains deleted correctly no problems. Now when I get a notification that an e-mail has come in I get a follow-up notification every five minutes or so until I open my e-mail program. This started happening even though I didn't change any settings. I have been unable to find a setting either in HTC's e-mail or in Gmail to undo this. I think, but am not sure, that this started up when I upgraded to 2.3.4.
