General :: Syncing Email With Deleted On PC?
Apr 30, 2012is there a way to sync my email so that when i delete email on my phone, it doesnt still show up in my inbox on my pc? I've tried everything but it doesnt seem to work.

LG Ally :: Syncing With AOL - Read / Deleted Email Shows As New?
Oct 22, 2010Anyone else have this problem? You read an email (or delete an email) from Aol. Ally syncs to check for new emails, and the emails you have read or deleted pop up again as new emails. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient, and was wondering if anyone else has this problem, and if there's a solution. Spoke to LG tech support and their solution was to delete the Aol IMAP account and add it again as a POP3 account, then select the 'Delete From Server' checkbox. (and they're supposedly working on a fix. this problem cropped up after i installed an update in August.) This solution seems to have solved that problem, but now it takes forever for Aol to sync with my Ally; and it drains the battery. I set up GMail to sync up with Aol, but it's not instantaneous. Sometimes i don't get new emails for 30 minutes or more. Not good for business. And the Aol mail mobile web page is slow.

Mar 19, 2013I recently completely deleted a g-mail account, but now I can't remove the account from the Gmail app on my phone. Anytime I click it it gives me an authentication error and asks me to sign into it, which I can't do of course, becauseit no longer exists. How do I remove that particular e-mail from the gmail application?

He uses a Hotmail address.
If he:Downloads the e-mails on his phone, thenDeletes an e-mail via. the website (mail.live.co.uk) ... the deleted e-mails doesn't disappear from his phone in the Email app.
This means he now has 500+ e-mails in the app when there are only around 50 in his inbox.

Nov 29, 2013I don't use gmail app, I use normal email app like normal people who does not want to use 3 different email apps for 3 different accounts, so when I get an e-mail in Gmail and I delete it, it keeps coming back as new e-mail. When I open it it shows for a few seconds and then disappears, then new email count disappears. After I go back to using the phone new email appears again, then the same cycle..

Feb 19, 2010I decided I wanted to delete my gmail account on my Droid Eris and add my primary gmail account. ex. went into managae apps and cleared data for account1 @gmail .com, then I reset up my phone with account2 @gmail.com. I just realized by clearing data, I deleted all of my contacts off of my phone. Luckily I went online and checked account1@gmail.com to see that all of my contacts were still there. How do I get them back onto my phone? Do I need to transfer the contacts from this account to account2@gmail.com? And how do I transfer them? Simply, how do I get my contacts into account2, my primary gmail account on my droid eris, and also back onto the phone?

Nov 2, 2010I have searched and haven't been able to find any threads with one of my issues, so I apologize in advance if I missed one. Anyways, my DX has been working flawlessly since I got it back on 10/6. Sunday, 10/31, my DX quit syncing just my corporate Exchange 2003 emails, then yesterday it started not sending emails as well and now, this morning, it quit syncing my personal email. Corporate email will sync manually, just not push. I have rebooted several times, pulled the battery several times, and also deleted both my Exchange account and my personal account and re-added both and the problem still persists. I don't have any task killer apps installed and haven't recently added any apps since the issues started. Anyone have an idea what may be causing the lack of push (in and out) on both of my accounts?

But later on in the day they will reapear. Feb 26, 2010Did a search but couldn't find anything on this. I don't have a single song on my Eris. And probably only about 20 pics. Very vew apps. Which tells me this is all based on my email file. I sync'd up both the Sent Items and the Deleted Items about a week ago and I'm betting that stuff has filled up my card. If there a way to clear those two buckets? I really don't need Deleted and Sent on my phone. Didn't realize it would take so much room on the card. Anybody have any ideas?

Nov 22, 2010I am having some difficulties with syncing my Shaw Cable email account while not on WiFi. If I'm on a WiFi network, I have no difficulties with email. However,I noticed that when I'm away from my WiFi network at home, I cannot sync with this email account. I get a "Network error" alert.
With Hotmail, I have no difficulties at all. My Hotmail account is able to sync where ever I go whether on or off WiFi. I'm currently with Bell (Canada). I used to own a Nokia N97 and had no difficulties with Shaw on that phone.

Aug 10, 2010In iTunes (I switched from Tmobile iPhone to Android Slide), when you desktop sync, if you delete an email on the phone, it deletes in the Outlook application (once sync'd).I understand why this does not work with Google Sync (well not really.why would they not do the same thing the iPhone does with deleted emails.I guess they tag/keep track of deletions, then compare to the PC).I delete many emails via my phone. With the current setup, I then have to go and remember what was deleted, then do it again on my PC (Windows). TMO customer service has no idea their answer is you have to delete them twice (and basically remember what you deleted).

Nov 12, 2009I have an issue with my Gmail app where I think no information is being 'sent' from the phone. I receive incoming mails, but no mails are sent. Though I delete incoming mails, the next notification which I receive when I get the next mail will show "17 mails" though I would have deleted the previous 16 emails. When I check email on my browser, all the emails what I had deleted are still there. I have tried a factory reset and I still have a problem.

The emails will initially update after reboot, but won't update again until the next reboot.
