I don't know for the life of me how to see all my accounts I have with the stock email app. I have two AOL accounts, but every time I open the app, only one account shows up. I try pressing "back" and it exits the program. I also tried seeing what I can do when I press the settings button (first left button).

I use Gmail for my email, but I find the Email app is easier to use. There is also a Messaging app, but that incorporates texting, etc. I don't want that. I just can't figure out how to add multiple email accounts under the Email app. Under email settings I see where it says default mail account and it shows both of my account, but the front screen doesn't show both accounts?

However, when you open the trash folder, there is nothing there (I regularly delete my emails from it). Why this is happening and how to correct it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy Nexus with Stock 4.0.4 ROM and a Transformer Prime also with the stock ASUS firmware (4.0.3), The company where I work has a mail server that supports exchange (Kerio Connect) At that server I have (because I need it that way) 2 different accounts, I need one of those accounts to synchronize everything; contacts, mail, calendar, and the other one to synchronize only calendar appointments.
If I configure the first account everything works just fine. But, when I configure the second account, I start receiving login errors for both accounts every certain time, the apps shows me the option to update my account credentials and when I do it works for the moment but after a while it fails again. If I delete whichever of the two accounts the other works fine.
I have not tested this scenario against other email servers, so I'm not sure if this a problem with my server or if this is an Android problem.
Both accounts are configured as Exchange accounts from Settings menu.
I'm a new Android user and I'm sure this will seem like a silly question, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out. I have two non-Gmail accounts set up using the stock email program: one Yahoo Mail and the other for my domain. The email account for my domain is set up as the default, so when I start a new email, it comes from that account. However, I can not figure out how to switch to the Yahoo Mail account to compose and send email without making the Yahoo Mail account the default account. There has to be some way to open your inbox or send a new message without switching which account is the default everytime, or at least I would think so.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if anyone else has had their email accounts disappear? This has happened 3 times now. The first time was a few weeks ago after having the same accounts for months. The next time was a couple of weeks ago and then it happened again today. I checked my emails when I got to work, and then while I was sitting in a meeting, I picked up my phone to peek at emails and all 3 accounts were gone along with my corporate calendar account. I re-entered the accounts and it loads everything, but this is kind of annoying.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else had an issue with the Droid completely eliminating email accounts? This has happened to me twice now and it's such a pain in the butt. I have one Exchange account for work and one Pop account (yahoo). Both times I've gone to access my email and the accounts were just gone (my gmail account however remained in tact). I have to go and add them in again and adding Yahoo as a Pop account is no picnic. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening or if that's even possible?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Droid X for a week now. I'm coming from the Incredible. Both are great phones but I prefer the X. I have 3 email accounts setup on this phone. My corp account using the Corporate Sync and 2 personal accounts using IMAP. The Corporate Sync works fine but the IMAP accounts will only download email every few hours instead of every 15 minutes. If I reboot the phone, it will download new emails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of our Droid's have lost the mail accounts at least once (when you go to email it shows the "new account wizard" - however, the old accounts still show in the "Sync" area. One of the devices seems to be doing it regularly. Wanted to see if anyone had advice with this issue, as I have heard other discussing the issue, but never seen resolution. Specific to the unit that has lost it several times. I factory reset the device last time to see if that would resolve it. It dropped it again not a week later. This unit is not rooted, and is at 2.0.1. The only other assumption I can make is possible problems with an APP?

I have no idea what to do here, I can manually sync my accounts but they dont refresh like they are supposed to. I even tried turning push off, battery pull etc NOTHING. I really need my email on me at all times!

We have contracted out an Android app, and our clients are not happy. Can we do what we want? The scenario is an activity that lists data about an event, and a button to compose the email. That works. Except that it always uses the goggle account on the phone. Can email be sent in accounts other than the goggle account outside of the Mail app?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'd like to get access to the data stored in the default Email app. I'd like to find out what accounts are associated with the App, and for each account, what folders are associated with the account, and for each folder how many emails are in that folder. I need this information on 2.1 and 1.5. I see the AccountManager in 2.1 can give me some of the accounts configured, but in the Email app you can also add accounts which don't show up in the AccountManager. How do you get access to the accounts configured in the Email app. I'd like to be able to programmatically deleted emails in the users folders. Are the emails stored in a content Provider? If so whats the URI.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the gmail app is facing sync issues, I have decided to switch to the stock email app that droid X has. The only problem with it is that it doesn't combine the similar conversations like gmail does, so if you have 8 emails exchanged with someone, it will show as 8 different messages rather than just one which is the case with gmail. Does anyone know how to fix this? I checked the settings but couldn't find anything.

I'm curious if it works because it synced so well to my work email, while the Galaxy stock email does not. I'm willing to try it out if anyone has the apk. I forgot to grab it before I flashed the rom and I don't want to have to re-flash to TouchWiz, grab it, and re-flash back to 1.6, especially if doesn't even work.
Also, if anyone's interested, here's a link to an Exchange email app that I got to work on the 1.6 rom, but it's not as feature rich. Exchange ActiveSync on your G1! | Nexeo.net. Pre-apologies if anyone has a problem with providing a system apk. But I did pay like $250 for this phone. Please just PM me then.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just switched to Eris from WinMo HTC XV6800. On the old phone I had all my email accounts, Exchange, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail.I could open the mail app and see all accounts as a list and then select which account to access the new email as it would show which accounts had new mail. On the Eris, when I get a new email notification, I have no idea which email account the new mail is for. I have to open mail, then touch to open the pull down of accounts and then check each one , one by one until I dig out the new email. Is there an easier way to see all new mail in an overview list of all accounts on the Eris? All in all loving the phone after 48 hours but the email use seems clunky and slows down my productivity.
Are there any emails apps that we can use to replace the stock one? I would like to be able to filter emails but I just don't like the look or feel of the stock one.

It always says "you're alarm is set for 8 hours and 37 minutes from now", yet it never goes off at that time. Does anyone else have this problem? So far I have three email accounts including my gmail account on my eris. When I first setup my msn, and school email I was able to separate the accounts into two separate icons. Now that I have figured out how to add my yahoo account I would like to have a separate icon for this also but can't figure out how I did this the first time.
