well one my friend have problem with his HTC Tattoo while he was trying to delete a font from font folder he accidentally deleted the FONT FOLDER now his phone is not working. Is there anyway to fix this problem ?

I spent some time cleaning off stock HTC apps (Facebook.apk, HTC Facebook and Friend Stream included), but now all my contacts under People are no longer linked to any Facebook accounts. If I go to the Global tab, there is no option to refresh Facebook friends list. I've tried re-installing Facebook for Android, and I've also tried downloading the Facebook.apk and adding it back into /system/app. Really, all I want ot do is sync Facebook with my phone contacts to pull in pics and birthdays, I don't care about Friend Stream or HTC's stock FB app. Anyone know what to do?

So now the screen is just black, I can't access anything and it keeps coming up with "systemUI has stopped responding".
I tried downloading Huawei's official firmware from their website, and flashed the device, but whilst installing it said "update error" and wouldn't install it.
i accidentaly deleted the lib folder in system and i did not make any backup and now my Note 2 is stuck in a boot loop. When i tried to flash stock 4.1.2 it failed in the odin and on the phone it said unsuported version.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy HTC Desire VC (T328d) was rooted and running Android OS 4.0.3 (ics).
In recovery mode, I accidentally formatted /system folder (from internal phone memory). This is because the recovery mode is all in chinese language and I did a huge mistake.The phone cannot boot showing HTC logo screen and no boot sound.
I've downloaded the kernel for this device at htcdev.com.I can enter recovery mode. My friend has the same device and his is not rooted yet.
I just got a Nexus 4 and activated it with a Straighttalk (at&t) SIMS card. I have been using Straighttalk for a while now and simply moved my cell # to this phone. I love the Nexus 4 so far although while I did something pretty silly.... I was messing around with the voicemail settings I accidentally deleted the Voicemail Number that was on the phone.
Now whenever I try to call my phone a voice message comes up which says "Sorry the person you have called does not have voice box set up ect...." Mind you that I did have a voicemail box set-up before I deleted this voicemail number on the phone. I have tried to replace the "Voicemail #" with my own cell phone number but that does not work. Also I have tried just holding down the number 1 but that same message comes up. When I call *86 it says "message cannot be completed as dialed".....
As per topic how do you access sent SMS and deleted SMS on the Tattoo ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I go into my mail and click refresh it deletes everything in my mail box! Its not full there is only usually about 5-10 emails lying in there. I really don't know why it deletes them when I press refresh, today I lost an important email from virgin media. It seems to do this a lot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to change the font in my widget such that it uses a specific font in "assets" folder of my app. I usually do this in my app to change the font:
Typeface tf= Typeface.createFromAsset(getAssets(), "advertising.ttf");
TextView converted = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.TextView03);
converted.setTypeFace(tf);
And it works like a charm. How can I do this in widgets? I can only set the text and change the color:
remoteView.setTextViewText(R.id.TextView03,"some text" );
remoteView.setTextColor(R.id.TextView03, Color.BLACK);
But I don't see a way to set the font.
Hoping to find some help here, i am looking to set my own sms ring tones, i have gone through the posts on here, and downloaded astro and ringdroid, everytime open ringdroid it won't work and requests a force stop, i don't know how to set up a folder on the root of my SD card,? i am total thick when it comes to this side of things also wondering about bluetooth on the tattoo, can you blue tooth pics and recieve bluetooth from other phones xx.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI own a rooted THL w8s. Today, I accidentally deleted a folder from the root menu.
The story is this one; I was trying to install an app but it would fail installation. So I read in here that if i moved the apk file in the root browser/data/app it would then get installed.
So I copied the file, went to the app folder but I couldn't find how to paste it. So I exited the app folder, long pressed it and a menu popped up that had the choice move. Unfortunately, what was moved was the app folder from the root menu and now no app is working! Worse than that, is that Google Play isn't available any more!
I cant seem to be able to add more then a gig or two of music before it all gets deleted into the LOST.DIR folder on my sd card when I try to add new music.Any idea?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI searched but couldn't find this problem. I use the Google Sync software on my PC to sync Outlook 2003 to my Google Account. I use the 2 way sync option.
When I create an appt. on my Inc. it shows up in my Gmail calendar fine but when the gmail calendar syncs to outlook that appt does not show up in the outlook calendar but goes directly to my "deleted items" folder and shows an appt date of 12/31/1997 no matter what date it is scheduled for.
Appts made from outlook synced to Google work fine and vise versa. Only appts made on my phone have this issue. I hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated since I love the fact I never have to connect my phone to my PC.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy newly bought Tattoo became unbootable a few days ago.It worked perfectly fine two days ago, then it started to randomly reboot itself, but after that, it became completely unbootable, as in, it was stuck at the "TATTOO" screen. The phone internals are completely untouched, no custom images, not rooted, no nothing, it's factory fresh.The battery is full too, and I didn't install anything that could possibly have corrupted the bootloader (or whatever is failing to load).I already tried to wipe the user data _TWICE_ (using HOME + BACK + POWER) with no success. I'm also perfectly able to get into HBOOT (using VOLDOWN + MENU + POWER), and connect via usb (using "FASTBOOT USB" from HBOOT). However, I can't completely wipe the cache with fastboot.exe from the android-sdk, since it doesn't allow it: "erasing 'cache'... FAILED (remote: not allow)".
