I've tried many different email.apk's on the internet trying to get this app back but no luck. Some just don't work and other give a parsing error. have LG Ally 2.1 update-1 and if someone could just give me a copy of the email.apk,I need this for my work and i accidentally deleted it. help me

I have the free yahoo account setup but sometimes when I delete an email a few minutes later it will appear back as a new email. I delete it again and it does the same thing comes right back.
What do I need to do delete email for good from my phone?
I sink my Hotmail account, but have a lot of problems with it. If I delete messages, they sometimes come back. Also, anything I do on my phone doesn't translate to my account online. When I sign in from my laptop, all the messages I deleted from my phone are back. Does anyone have any advice to help fix this?

Ally syncs to check for new emails, and the emails you have read or deleted pop up again as new emails. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient, and was wondering if anyone else has this problem, and if there's a solution. Spoke to LG tech support and their solution was to delete the Aol IMAP account and add it again as a POP3 account, then select the 'Delete From Server' checkbox. (and they're supposedly working on a fix. this problem cropped up after i installed an update in August.) This solution seems to have solved that problem, but now it takes forever for Aol to sync with my Ally; and it drains the battery. I set up GMail to sync up with Aol, but it's not instantaneous. Sometimes i don't get new emails for 30 minutes or more. Not good for business. And the Aol mail mobile web page is slow.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI don't use gmail app, I use normal email app like normal people who does not want to use 3 different email apps for 3 different accounts, so when I get an e-mail in Gmail and I delete it, it keeps coming back as new e-mail. When I open it it shows for a few seconds and then disappears, then new email count disappears. After I go back to using the phone new email appears again, then the same cycle..

I was trying to clean out the web links in there so I could put my own in, but accidentally dragged that entire container onto the delete spot.

Well it didnt work now i have no youtube app. Can someone post a youtube.apk for me to download and install from the Droid X 2.2 leak (rooted). But later on in the day they will reapear. View 11 Replies View RelatedFormatted my SD card yesterday and was cleaning up the internal memory of music as well since I was having issues with duplicate playlists etc. Just recieved a call today and noticed it wasn't my normal ringtone. I go to contacts(any of them) and see there is only one option for a ringtone. So unless there is a virus on my phone, I've accidently deleted my stock ringtones. Anyway to get the rintone folder back on the phone short of doing a complete reinstall of the OS? Take it back. My ringtones are still on the phone on the internal memory. I can play them fine in Mixzing/stock player, but are not showing up when I click on contacts/ringtone etc..
I did do this yesterday: iSyncr FAQ - Basic | JRT Studio I have duplicate playlists and/or blank playlists on my phone, how can I fix this up? Your phone has an internal cache where it stores this information. Sometimes this cache gets out of sync. You can delete this cache by looking for an application called "Media Store" (or similar) in "Settings->Applications->Manage Applications". You may have to press the menu button and change the filter to show all applications. Once you find "Media Store", open its options page and select "Clear Data". Then reboot the phone to force the cache to be rebuilt. Also, try searching your storage for *.m3u files, delete any of these files that are not in the "syncr" directory.
There were a bunch of videos on my phone's internal memory (21 to be exact). I connected the phone to a PC so I could copy the videos off the phone and when it synced the two drives (internal and SD), it only showed 3 out of the 21 videos I had. I searched on the drive for *.3gp videos and it still only showed those 3. When I removed the phone from the PC and looked in my videos on the phone the extra 18 videos were no longer there. I also performed a search on the phone using Astro and again it only found the 3 videos.
It is as if they have been deleted somehow? Any idea how to get them back?

The idiot part comes from me getting all gitty about the 2.1 v3 update, not thinking about the pictures and videos that I didn't back up (my music and ROMs already were backed up) and deleting my SD card purposely to get rid of all the old, unneccesary files and folders. Anyways, is there anyway to get these old files back? I've seen another post about a file recovery program but it wasn't very specific.

They are news, weather, Friend stream, messages, the clock and favorites. I added a wrong contact to the favorite page and wanted to delete it. I pressed down on the screen, the remove icon appeared at the bottom and I dragged what I thought was the contact to it. Unfortunately it was the whole favorite page, can I add it back and how do I do it ?
