There are events in my Droid's calendar that were deleted from the google calendar a long time ago. If I visit the google calendar website, I can confirm that these events are not in the google calendar, yet they still appear on my Droid. I have tried deleting and re_adding the calendar under the calendar app's settings as well as using the "manage applications" area to clear all the data associated with the calendar. The calendar the appears empty, but after the next sync, those events come back (even though they do not show up on the online google calendar). What can I do?

Whenever I edit and mark some events via the calendar app, it is stored in the database but if I edit the calendar.db from some outside source the changes made are not reflected in the calendar app. So my question is:
Does the calendar app maintain a cache or some other form of database? If yes then where and how?
I was hoping to retrieve some accidentally erased pics from my phone with an SD card adapter. When I opened up my phone I was surprised to see that there was NO sd card. who have that memory chip, but is there any hope for me without the card? Incidentally, Google+ backed up a few of my photos.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI spent some time cleaning off stock HTC apps (Facebook.apk, HTC Facebook and Friend Stream included), but now all my contacts under People are no longer linked to any Facebook accounts. If I go to the Global tab, there is no option to refresh Facebook friends list. I've tried re-installing Facebook for Android, and I've also tried downloading the Facebook.apk and adding it back into /system/app. Really, all I want ot do is sync Facebook with my phone contacts to pull in pics and birthdays, I don't care about Friend Stream or HTC's stock FB app. Anyone know what to do?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis phone was my dads until he got a new one, but he only has a limited amount of time to retrieve the data before it goes back to T-mobile or else he has to pay money for the broken phone core. It was dropped, and broke the digitizer but not the screen. As of now, the display doesn't work at all, but I can hear the phone turn on just fine. I have been trying to think of how I can access the internal storage without tearing the phone apart and getting to the storage directly(not sure if that would work either).

Background: I have a ZTE Awe with Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
I just recently mounted a 32GB SD card in the efforts to expand my storage capabilities and realized (after a little research) that this is mostly beneficial for storing media. After learning that, I figured I would start moving any permissible apps and pictures to the SD card to avoid all the 'insufficient storage' and 'low memory' warnings.
In addition, I changed my 'Save Location' (under Storage Settings) from 'Phone' to 'SD Card.'
ISSUE: The issue that I have noticed is that after moving all my pictures to my SD card, the Internal Storage 'Pictures, videos' segment says that it contained about 34MB. I thought this was odd as I moved all my pictures to the SD card and deleted the albums stored on the phone. So, as a test, I took another picture. Sure enough, now it contains about 35MB and remains the same even after I deleted that new photo.
So the question is, why does the internal storage being consumed by pictures that were transferred or deleted? Based on my experiment, it will continue to consume space even though I am deleting the images.
Additional Question: I have read on some other forums that the camera app has a setting to determine the default storage location of where new pictures are stored. However, when I go to 'Storage Location' under the camera options, it just takes me to the 'Storage Settings' menu from the main 'Settings' menu and I can't do anything different other than see that my 'Save Location' is already 'SD Card' as opposed to 'Phone'.
How can I ensure that all future pictures, videos and media are by default saved to the SD card?
I have a SGS4, Is there any way to recover deleted photo from the internal storage? My phone is 100% stock without root.

But "Corporate" accounts, which include my Hotmail and GroupWise calendars, won't sync calendar appointments older than two weeks. Even worse: appointments from older than two weeks ago actually drop off.
On settings, I have it set to sync all. I tried adding and removing accounts. I tried deleting calendar memory/cache. I have even tried returning my Nexus 7. The replacement has the same issue.
I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)
