Jelly Bean :: Previously Downloaded Files Keep Trying To Download After 4.3 Update On GS3

I recently purchased a Galaxy S3, that was completely factory reset with JB 4.1.2.
I downloaded a couple of .jpg files to use as backgrounds, but then decided not to use them - but left them on the device (not in the original download location however)
A couple days ago I received the 4.3 update from AT&T, which seemed to go off without a hitch. But now, the 3 files I downloaded seem to continue to download. - at least I get a notification that the files are downloaded (3 different notifications).
I deleted the files to see if that would stop it - no luck.
I went to Chrome and closed all the tabs (a couple were still open to the location I downloaded them from) - no luck.
When I get the notifications, if I click on it, it says it can't find the file.If I just clear it off, they come back a few hours later.

Google Chrome doesn't trust my university's website where all of my school documents and resources are, and thus won't let me download any files from the site. It's nothing crazy or illegitimate, it's my school's site... it just makes it difficult when I want to download pdf files or word documents to work on the go. Any remedy at all aside from downloading on my computer and saving to Google drive?

I think downloading is disabled, but can't find it under settings/apps, so I can't find a way to enable it. Play store won't open. My browser does not have the menu button (square with three bars in it). I am using new Nexus 7 with Android 4.3.1.

I have a Galaxy 10.1 Note. how to download some images. I was then printing them via the epson print app. Some of them automatically appeared in gallery in the download folder. This however was random and in some cases they didn, t appear.

I updated my phone (GS3) two days ago and after I did I have 4 "download complete" notifications that won't go away. Even after clearing them they come back. The files cannot even be located on my phone anywhere. I downloaded these ages ago through Chrome.

I got my shiny new Nexus 7 three days ago and connected it to my gmail account. Then I tried searching the play store and it doesn't seem to be working properly - apps like iPlayer and Evernote are 'not compatible with my device' and when I search for other apps I don't get the proper, basic ones like camera, only independently made ones that are less popular. When I try to download these I get an error message - Error while retrieving information from server (RPC:S-7 EOS:AEC-O). So I tried looking for solutions on the internet - sync it, remove Google account and put it back on, I've even tried setting up an entirely new email, but nothing has worked. I've noticed my device has a permanent sync error but nothing has remedied that. This is all terribly annoying as a device is pretty useless without apps, although I managed to download Facebook right when I got the tablet. The internet works fine, and my Wi-Fi is strong.

I'm having a problem ever since i updated to 4.3 last week I'm trying to add hebrew to the samsung keyboard and it keeps failing or just not doing anything.
I tried to clear cache for the app and still now go....also tried to download using WiFi and 4G still no go
Another Issue I am having is that the Geo-Tag and the camera used to tagged correctly in hebrew and now all of a sudden it tags in arabic.

BBC iPlayer switches my tablet off if I try to resume playing a downloaded programme after I've switched tablet off. I emailed iplayer support who claimed they had not come across this problem. I think it might have been since 4.4.2 was installed.

Just updated to 4.3. (Galaxy Note 2) All fine. Only one problem:
Lost Swedish as input language. (But English and Chinese still present.)
I choose add input language. It says tap to download (Swedish). The download progress bar appears but never starts to fill. Wait long. Finally it says "download failed".

I use android 4.3 with custom ROM and my device is root. I use Google play store to install applications . where I can find apk files are downloaded by play store ,? I want find them and move them to SD card and use them later , if I want reinstall them and do not use more bandwidth of internet . I do not want use application like titanium , I want do this with file manager . Can I do this for more space , for my phone . for example I find them and move them to SD card , for more space

I have samusng galaxy i9001 (S Plus Model). I installed cyanogenmod 10.1, but my battery is dying faster and my operators mobile internet data can't work either, so I want to go back to my stock android version. I found out that I need to go to download mode so I did, but the problem is: after i hold home+power+vol. down, green android guy appears and below it said 'download do not turn off the target!', it's all that is on the screen and it just stays like that forever..

Second, I'm a bit confused about two sd cards shown in my "es datei explorer". There is a "sd card" and a "extsd card" which I suppose to be the real card. What's the first one?

I have galaxy s4 mini (GT19195 , 4.2.2).
the problem is that i can't upload/download anything through all the applications that i install (WhatsApp,Facebook,foursquare...). Everytime that i try to upolad or download an item it always fail.
i noticed that the folders by Default created with those applications are not there from the beginning so i tried to create them manually but it didn't work.
i removed the external sd card so that i can install the applications directly in the internal sd card but no thing changed.
Maybe if i root my phone it will work but it doesn't resolve the situation.
one important thing that i notice is that the application installed with the system (not the new ones) like gmail give me the possibility to upload/download without a problem.
i tried to move the new applications to the folder /system/app in order to be executed the same way as the system applications but no change.

My galaxy s3 screen has broken. It didn't shatter but it does not light up or respond to touch. I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I cannot unlock it. Is there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program without using the touchscreen?

I've come to the conclusion, after trying several different file managers, music players and playlist organisers, that it simply isn't possible to choose the order in which music will be played. I have two folders of mp3 files, both of which contain track numbers on every file, but, when I try to create a playlist, it just ignores the track numbers and plays the files in alphabetical order. I have read several files explaining how to edit the order of a playlist all of which refer to options which don't exist on my phone.
It's running android 4.1.1
This seems such a basic requirement for a music player that it seems impossible that it's been overlooked and yet that seems to be the case.

I can't put any music on it. My computer will either stay frozen on copying the first song to copy, or it will tell me that the Nexus disconnected. I'm using the original cable that came with it, and I tried another one already.

I just recently got an optimus G e970. I downloaded CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip for the rom.I used "adb push CM10.2.zip /sdcard/" to move the files files to my sdcard and i sucessfully installed cyanagenmod BUT i can't delete the .zip files left behind.
When i go to recovery mode, i see the files in my sdcard but there are not options to remove it. I connected the phone to my PC and i can't see CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip file in my sdcard. I tried installign root explorer and esfile explorer and enabled hidden files but i can't find this file in my sdcard (internal storage) or sdcard1 (physical sdcard). However, i can still see them in recovery mode, BUT again there is not option to remove the .zip files in recovery mode.!

I am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.

I am using an external sd card on my Samsung GT-P3110 and using Android V 4.1.1. For some reason the various apps no longer see the folders and music files that are on the card.
I can still see the files when I attach the card to my PC using Win7 and I can add or delete without issues. Apps that are no longer seeing the files include n7player and ES File Explorer. This is only a recent development. For the first five months I did not have any problems with this.

Managing Galaxy Note I & IIs running Android 4.1.2 and would like to direct network/browser traffic to a URL filtering service through a proxy server. Can confirm or deny (with supporting reference material) that Jelly Bean (specifically Android v4.1.2) has support for PAC files to configure proxy settings? The browsers I want to redirect to the proxy are Internet V4.1.2 (default with version 4.1.2 Android OS) and Chrome V 25.0.1364.169. Pointers to how to set proxies for those specific browser releases is also welcome.
If PAC file support does exist where does the PAC file need to be installed? How is it typically installed? Any documentation that reviews the PAC file support.
